Although Jay-Z is in his “Empire State of Mind,” there’s one Philadelphian who isn’t swaying to this tune… Beanie Sigel. Beans recently released a diss track attacking Hov titled “I Ain’t Ya Average.” Apparently, Sigel Sigel is claiming that Jay-Z wouldn’t let him out of his contract with Def Jam. He’s even comparing Jay to pulling a Diddy stunt… No Bueno.

In case y’all had missed it… recently released rapper Jamal “Shyne” Barrow was deported back to his native country– Belize, just after his release from prison. While serving his 9 years bid in connection with a New York City club shooting incident, the rapper changed his name to Moses Michael Levi. He’s currently back in his homeland, where he rented out the entire first floor at the Belize Radisson hotel while his new home at his father’s place is renovated. Let’s not forget who Shyne’s daddy is– the Prime Minister of Belize!!!!

Boxing has been very quiet since Floyd Mayweather Jr. defeated Juan Manuel Marquez.  As we know that fight did huge PPV numbers and Mayweather drives the sport more then anyone else.  After settling his debt with the IRS he has been laying low waiting to make his next move & it may have just gotten a lot easier.  The fighter that is #1 pound for pound in many people’s eyes, Manny Pacquiao, called Floyd out yesterday.  In a big teleconference for his upcoming fight with Miguel Cotto “Pac Man” said “I don’t think it’s going to happen.  I’m sure he doesn’t want to fight.”  He also went on to say that “Boxing for him is like a business, He doesn’t care about the people around him watching watching.  He doesn’t care if the fight is boring, as long as the fight is finished and he gets money. . . I want people to be happy.  You have a responsibility as a boxer.”    It doesn’t get any more clear then that how he feels about Floyd.

I really hope that Pacquiao wins his next fight so Floyd can shut his mouth.  While there is some truth to the fact that many of Floyd’s fights are boring many times he is still undefeated and a champion at 135, 140, 147, and 154 lbs.  Pacquiao also has a very big fight in front of him against Cotto that will be very tough for him.  It is very premature for him to call out Money Mayweather when he may lose his next fight.  Either way Floyd is going to have to respond to protect his credibility and the fans that would like to see these guys fight.
