According to EURWEB “Allen Iverson is taking an indefinite break from the Philadelphia 76ers to care for his 4-year daughter Messiah, who is suffering from an unknown illness.” Reports have indicated that “indefinite” could mean for the remainder of the season…and the team understands.

Team President ad General Manager, Ed Stefanski announced:

At this time, we feel that is in the best interest of the Sixers, Allen and his family that he be allowed to deal with a very serious issue that is far greater than the game of basketball.”

Messiah’s conditions are becoming worse and options are becoming limited.

We wish the Iverson’s the best and we sure hope that little Messiah gets better soon!

Supermodel Naomi Campbell may be “crazy” but she sure knows how to make a difference…

Naomi teamed up with London designer Vivienne Westwood to open a pop-up show selling design official t-shirts in aid of “Fashion for Relief” at Westfield. The T-shirts, which were unveiled last week at Naomi Campbell’s spectacular Fashion for Relief show, highlight some of the shocking statistics that women and girls are being faced with in Haiti. All monies will be donated to ” The White Ribbon Alliance to support the health needs and rights of women and girls around the world, with particular focus on its partners in Haiti, who at this time are helping to rebuild the healthcare system for mothers and babies”, according to event planners.

Naomi says: 

“I am delighted that Westfield London has partnered with myself and the White Ribbon Alliance to support this years Fashion for Relief in London. I am very grateful to Vivienne Westwood and her team for their dedication to this project whilst they themselves were in the midst of preparing for their own fashion week show. The Fashion for Relief Pop Up Shop at Westfield London has been such a huge success and I’m looking forward to my visit to Westfield tomorrow to personally help out.”

She went on to say:

Well he “HAD” one in London. According to Perez Hilton, “The R&B star was supposed to host a two-hour show every Saturday night for Capital FM.” His radio show debuted February 13th, but after that there was no more AKON!

A spokesperson from the radio station announced:

Due to Akon’s commitments, including working on a brand new album, we won’t be broadcasting a regular show on 95.8 Capital FM for the time being. Our conversations about future shows are ongoing as we explore other opportunities that may work for both of us.”

Insiders tell me Akon was a bit lewd on the radio and that’s the REAL REASON they ditched him…. radio isn’t for everyone.

First we have to give a big-ups to Will Smith for producing the re-make of “The Karate Kid.” If you didn’t know, it stars Will Smith’s son, Jaden Smith, Taraji P. Henson…and of course you couldn’t call it “The Karate Kid” without Jackie Chan!

A hyper, shrieking Nadya Suleman hit The View yesterday, where she fielded questions about her mental stability, and having more kids.

Octo-Pussy spent much of the interview rambling and bursting into laughter like a maniac.  I cried laughing when Whoopi asked her:

“Do you understand that some people think…maybe you’re not quite all there?

In the interview, Nadya claims she lost 145lbs after giving birth to her octuplets and now she’s working hard to maintain her body because it means money:

“The main reason was obviously revenue and I’m the first to admit it. I’m very, very open and honest about that.”

And somehow she managed to deny all rumors that she was mentally unstable:

“If I were genuinely ‘mentally unstable,’ I would have drowned from the beginning. I know for a fact.”

But here is what she had to say about have kid number 15:

“[Not until] far, far, far in the future when [the kids] are older [and] if, God willing, I meet somebody. I’m not going to say 100-percent no.”
