Chris Bosh’s Baby Mama, Allison Mathis, Applies For Food Stamps

Chris Bosh is in the middle of playing in the NBA Finals, while his baby mama is applying for food stamps.

Allison Mathis was laid off from her job as a secretary at a construction company and has been forced to apply for federal food assistance. That’s not all- her home may go into foreclosure as well because the child support Bosh pays doesn’t even cover her mortgage. Mathis & Bosh have been in and out of the courts for over two years now and Bosh didn’t allow her to appear on VH1′s “Basketball Wives,” which as we all know from the other women on the show, can pay the bills.

Bosh’s child support is $2,600 a month, but, “according to state guidelines, someone like Bosh whose yearly salary is in the $18 million-range should be paying about $30,000-a-month.” Mathis’ lawyer, Jane E. Carey, says the fact that Bosh asked a judge to take their 3-year-old daughter to London to watch him play in the Olympics this summer, is just “for a photo op. He doesn’t care. He hasn’t been decent to my client and his daughter.“

The judge denied him his request.
