R&B Birthday Brawl & Toni Braxton Heats Up Soul Train Awards
The streets are on fire!!! Sources claim that on Saturday night two R&B singers, Trey Songz and Joe, came to blows:
“Both Joe and Trey were seated together in the VIP section at a New Jersey club. Everything was fine at first, with the two guys hanging together and drinking. But as the liquor flowed and the night went on, one of Joe’s friends got into an argument with one of Trey’s friends. And before long, all heck broke loose. The entire VIP section started brawling — including Joe and Trey Songz. Trey didn’t get anything too bad, but Joe and his people were beat up pretty badly.”
I’m sure both Trey and Joe will deny playing a part in the melee. But witnesses say those two were definitely throwing bows!!
On another (more positive) note, Check out Toni Braxton tearing down the stage with Trey Songz at The 2009 Soul Train Awards. Homegirl’s clearly still got it!!!

As for the “brawl”, Trey and all the young R&B Artists need to show respect for JOE, R KELLY, JODECI, KEITH SWEAT,JOHNNY GILL, TEVIN CAMPBELL etc.
They created the R&B Slow Jams these young guys are trying to imitate,
but they are not on their level yet.
I agree with you J about these younger artists showing respect. These young guys today can’t hold a candle to none of the throwbacks.
I really like Toni Braxton new song “KISS”. Toni’s distinct style has been missing. I think I’ll buy that song.
Damn..seems like everyone has their own version of what happened that night..I’ve read about 6 different stories about what took place..As of right now a lot of sites are retracting their original story and are now saying that the fight was between Trey’s security and a group of niggas from newark..Trey and Joe had nothing to do with it at all..Who knows..But on some real shit..Trey should’ve got his ass beat just for him saying R Kelly couldn’t fuck with him and that he didn’t want any parts of him..Boy I tell ya..niggas get a lil fame and lose there freaking minds..
