Nelly Speaks Out About Tour Bus Arrest: “I Had No Idea About The Drugs”
Nelly is speaking out following his arrest in Texas yesterday evening when police stopped his tour bus. They found marijuana, heroin and a loaded gun, which Nelly is saying he knew nothing about.
Nelly told TMZ:
It is my understanding a member of my staff made an unfortunate decision to bring unlawful materials onto our tour bus that resulted in his arrest this morning. Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these on board. Law enforcement officials did not press charges against anyone other than that individual.”
Police in Sierra Blanca, Texas said they found… get this…10 pounds of weed, 36 bags of heroin (which those close to Nelly say was Molly aka pure ecstasy) and a loaded .45 caliber pistol. Brian Keith Jones, a passenger on the bus, was arrested after he admitted the drugs and gun were his. No one else as pressed with charges.
