The 18th Annual Espy Awards took place Wednesday night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Check out the red carpet fashions below….

Last night the BET Awards took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The stars were out and looking fabulous!!!!

I believe this was the best BET Awards since they started ten years ago! There were so many great performances that hit the stage last night, Kanye West, Trey Songz, Patti Labelle, Ludacris did the damn thanng! But the biggest highlight was Chris Brown’s tribute to Michael Jackson. He broke down crying during “Man in The Mirror”….couldn’t even finish the song:

To be honest, I think Breezy is the only artist today who could’ve done Michael Jackson’s tribute justice. Well there’s Usher, but let’s face it he’s not the dancing phenom he used to be. 
During the Prince tribute, Alicia Keys climbed her pregnant tail on top of the piano….

…yes chile I got me a good chuckle off that one!! Teheehee. Did you see the FLAAAAAMES shoot out of Prince’s hair on that one??? He must’ve thought she was about to go into labor!

The one and only Patti Labelle tore the house down with “Purple Rain”….

Last night Bey, Jay-Z, Will and Jada Smith attended the 64th Annual Tony Awards in NYC.

And the stars had something to smile about….

For the first time EVER, an African American has won Best Actor and Best Supporting actress in the same year! POW!!!!

A big congrats goes to Denzel Washington & Viola Davis!!!

Jay-Z picked up five nominations for the BET Awards yesterday, the most of any artist. Among his nods are two for “Empire State of Mind,” his duet with Alicia Keys — Best Collaboration and Video of the Year. “Run This Town” is also up for Video of the Year. 

…..Diddy’s “Dirty Money” was there.

Alicia and Beyonce grabbed four nominations each, including Best Female R&B Artist. Trey Songz also received four nods.

The big surprise, however, was a Best New Artist nomination for teen heartthrob Justin Bieber. But BET exec Stephen Hill says, “That was no joke.”

The 10th annual BET Awards will be hosted by Queen Latifah and will feature performances from nominees Drake and Nicki Minaj. The show will air live from L.A. on June 27th. Check out all the nominations below.
