Last week I told you Allen Iverson decided to leave the Philadelphia 76ers indefinitely due to the illness of his 4 year-old daughter. Well if that’s not enough, Iverson’s wife Tawanna, just announced that she’s packing her bags and wants a divorce…DAMN!
Tawanna filed a petition on Tuesday stating that her 8 1/2-year marriage was “irretrievably broken”. Plus Tawanna wants “temporary and permanent custody of their five children as well as child support and alimony.”
When it rains…it POURS! Hmm…but are we really shocked? “Irretrievably broken” usually means someone cheated. It’s no secret that Iverson’s been dipping his biscotti in everyone’s coffee cup. I’m just wondering why she decided to finally leave him NOW?!
Mathew and Tina Knowles have finally released a statement about their pending divorce. It’ short, sweet and to the point:
“The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners. If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.”
Meanwhile, Beyonce is keeping her mind off of her parents drama by launching a new fragrance….
The new scent is called Beyoncé Heat, which arrives in stores February. The perfume will come in three sizes as well as body lotion. It’s priced rather reasonably between $39 and $59, available at department stores soon.
Tina Knowles has finally had enough of Papa Knowles’ extramarital activities and has reportedly filed for divorce. Mums the word on the filed documents, but Mrs. Knowles has supposedly started divorce proceedings.
Looks like all of Matthew Knowles secret meetings and “friends” has caught up with him! So sad. I hate to see black love fail.

Everyone is familiar with the Tiger Woods story by now. Some people defend Tiger, others now hate Tiger. Well it appears his wife, Elin, has had enough as her lawyers now claim that there is now a 100% chance of divorce. Her reasons for divorce are obvious (adultery with the latest rumor being Woods had sex with Jessica Simpson) and from what I’m hearing money is not a big factor. In fact she is losing millions by leaving him now rather then waiting. According to the iron clad pre-nup she will walk away with a lump sum of 20 million dollars + child support for their 2 children. In comparison if she was to stay for a few more years she would receive upwards of 50 + million.
I have to say that I gain respect for Elin Woods on this one. 20 million of unearned money is a lot and the child support will far outweigh the cost of raising 2 kids so she will have enough money. She is young enough to find a new man and move on with her life. I also think this is better for Tiger. The trust is gone in the marriage and there is no need to have a wife constantly looking over your shoulder. Now Tiger can do his thing without society looking down on him.
Question for the sisters though: Does it bother you that NONE of Tiger’s many mistresses are black?

Nas took the stand in his divorce case yesterday, testifying that he wants overnights with his son.
Kelis has custody for now, but Nas’ lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, wants his client to score some face time with the kid. Kelis’ lawyer, Laura Wasser, grilled Nas about not paying his December child and spousal support in full. Nas said he thought he WAS paid up. Kelis later testified that she attempted to reconcile with her estranged hubby in September, but it didn’t work. She’s also talking about the difficulty she has earning money — because with a new kid and not a lot of job options outside the music business, it’s tough out there.
One of the big issues in the case has been how much money Nas makes. Kelis testified she knows Nas is set to release two albums next year. The judge asked Kelis what she heard about the albums. She said, simply, “Loved it.”
A judge then ordered Nas to pay $40,454 in spousal support and $10,647 in child support. Nas must also pay Laura Wasser’s attorney’s fees, to the tune of $46,022.
As mistresses keep surfacing, nine and counting, so have photos that are allegedly (and maybe NOT him) of Tiger Woods naked. From a Life & Style press release:

Playgirl’s rep Daniel Nardicio confirms to Life & Style that the online magazine has received photos claiming to be Tiger sans clothes. But until the photo is proven to be real, don’t expect to see it online. “We’re currently trying to authenticate the photos before we make any decisions on purchasing the Tiger Woods pics and ascertaining the value,” Nardicio tells Life & Style.

The grimiest part of this whole scandal is that Tiger allegedly went raw dog- sans condom with a few of these skanks. YUCK!!!! I suppose that was the news that made Elin pack up her ish and move out of the couple’s mansion.

So as it turns out, there was an eye witness to part of Tiger Wood’s questionable car crash. The witness says:
“He had a cut on his lower lip when emergency responders and other witnesses arrived. The wound was bloody. Tiger was wearing shorts, a t-shirt and no shoes. It’s illegal in Florida to drive without shoes. Tiger was lying on the ground unconscious when EMT workers arrived. They used “pain stimulus” — a method where pressure is applied on an unconscious person to make them alert — but Tiger only briefly opened his eyes and then lost consciousness. EMTs asked Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren, if Tiger was taking any medications. She went in the house and brought out two pill bottles. She said she did not know when he had last taken the meds.”
Okay thats all great and everything, but can the eye witness answer the main question that EVERYONE is buzzing about?? Did Elin beat Tiger up and cause the accident or not????? Everything else is irrelevant.
Tiger Wood’s private community is up in arms and security is impenetrable! Even people who live there are being told where they can and cannot go!!!No one is allowed near the crash site and one resident who dare went too close had his camera’s memory card confiscated by security. Tiger announced earlier today that his injuries from Friday’s accident would force him to pull out of his upcoming golf tournament.
While we’re on the subject of marital discord, Shaquille O’Neal wants to teach his estranged wife Shaunie Nelson a thing or two about getting thrown out. Shaq is trying to boot Shaunie from the ENTIRE court system in California. Shaunie filed legal papers in California earlier this month for legal separation, having moved to L.A. just days earlier. Shaq and his attorneys say Shaunie has no right to use the California divorce courts because they are residents of Florida. (Shaunie gets half if the divorce is settles in Cali).

Actor Terrence Howard revealed to S2Sthat he’s no longer engaged to Colombian actress Zulay Henao….I guess that means no more “butt” photos for him.
Terrence proposed to his ex-fiancée in Prague while he was filming Red Tails. When we asked what happened between him and Zulay, he only answered, “That [it] didn’t work out.”
Actress Taraji Henson and Terrence Howard shared a smooch at the 2009 Soul Train Awards which will air on November 29th at 9pm on the Centric Network. But before any rumors get started, Taraji says there is NOTHING brewing between them:
“I think Terrence is an incredible man, and he’s going to be incredible to some woman, but I’m not her,” Taraji continued. “I would rather keep Terrence as a really close friend and in my life forever than cross that line and potentially ruin a good friendship.”

After news broke that Toni Braxton and husband, Keri Lewis were getting a divorce, sources surface saying Trey Songz is the reason behind the split!!!
Apparently Toni and Trey Songz performed together at the 2009 Soul Train awards earlier this month, and after their performance the two exchanged a heated lip lock while Keri was sitting in the audience. News of the divorce broke shortly afterwards, though neither party have confirmed the reason behind the divorce.
I interviewed Toni Braxton back in September on WBLS NYC, and she eluded to problems in her marriage even then. When I asked her what inspired her single “Yesterday”, she responded “My husband, because he was almost yesterday!” Her facial expression led me to believe that she was fed up with him for some reason or another.
Sources claim Toni orchestrated the lip lock with Trey Songz in order to send a message to her husband Keri about his rumored cheating habits.
Toni and Keri have been married for 8 years and have two children together- Denim and Deizel.
Several sites are reporting that Shaquille O’Neal’s wife, Shaunie, filed legal separation papers yesterday in L.A. This comes less than a week after sources unveiled scandalous emails exchanged between Shaq and the fiance of fellow NBA player Gilbert Arenas. The emails elude to an affair between the two as recent as March.
The petition says although Shaunie is filing for legal separation, she intends to file for divorce. She lists “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for separation.
Shaquille’s lawyers claim the separation is all about money. They say that even though the couple lives in Florida, Shaunie chose to file for legal separation in L.A. (probably where she also tends to file for divorce) because it’s a 50/50 marital state and she stands to make out alot better in the divorce there. Shaunie is asking for both spousal and child support — though she did not specify an amount for either. Shaunie also wants legal and physical custody of the couple’s 4 kids.

Jennifer Lopez has filed a multi-million-dollar lawsuit against her ex-husband Ojani Noa over a tell-all movie and revealing home videos.
According to the suit, J-Lo says her ex plans to release a movie called “How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J-Lo and Ojani Noa Story”, which violates a confidentiality agreement that was signed a few year ago. Noa also is allegedly set to release 11-plus hours of previously unseen home video footage of Jennifer Lopez and himself, depicting her “in a revealing lack of clothing, and in sexual situations, especially in the hotel room from [her and his] honeymoon.”
Lopez is suing Noa for breach of contract and invasion of privacy — and is seeking no less than 10-million dollars. She also wants a judge to block Noa from releasing his movie and the home videos.
This guy is truly the bottom of the barrel. He’s been holding these tapes and footage over her head for years. Who KEEPS sex tapes of their (then) wife from the honeymoon?? He even looks like a slippery wet dawg…
Tameka Foster-Raymond stopped by Atlanta’s V103 recently and addressed the various rumors floating around on the Internet regarding the current standings of her marriage (or divorce action) with soon-to-be ex-hubby Usher. Check out the clips…
According to TMZ, Usher Raymond recently called the po-po on his soon to be ex-wife Tameka Foster accusing her of sneaking onto his property and scratching up one of his cars. (Damn have things really gotten this ugly?? Say it ain’t so)
Law enforcement sources tell us when officers arrived at the scene, Tameka Raymond was nowhere to be found.Police later interviewed both Tameka and Usher — but determined there was no evidence or witnesses to substantiate Usher’s claim.
But the drama didn’t end there — law enforcement sources tell us Usher called the cops on Tameka a second time several days later, complaining that Tameka again got onto his property and wouldn’t leave. By the time cops arrived, Tameka had already split.
Tameka’s rep says:
“This is just another attempt to disparage Tameka. It’s simply an angry ploy that has no merit. Tameka’s own truck was scratched but it’s not clear how. The truck is registered in her name, it’s not even Usher’s car. Why would she vandalize her own vehicle?”
Police say Tameka has been cleared of the possible vandalism charges. There has been no evidence or witnesses to tie Tameka to the incidents or to support Usher’s claims.

Sorry to break the news to everyone, but it appears that the Nas and Kelis divorce is still happening. I was among the many that hoped for a reconciliation between the two. Pictures of the couple together earlier this month looked like they were trying to reconcile. But the hearing set for November 20th is still happening and sources say Kelis is moving forward full steam ahead with the divorce.

They always say momma knows best!! The newest member of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kandi Burress, has broken up with her fiance AJ. If you’ve been keeping up with the show then you know her momma is doing a jig right about now. Here’s what she told Essence and E!:
ESSENCE.COM: Speaking of which, inquiring minds want to know what exactly does AJ do for a living?
BURRUSS: AJ over time has done a lot of things, including running this collection agencywhile we were together and he just recently bought into this strip club.
ESSENCE.COM: Hold up. Did you just say you and AJ are no longer together?
BURRUSS: (Laughs.) We’re on hiatus. He’s a great guy and he’s not the type to sit on his behind like a scrub, so it has nothing to do with that. Yes, he has a lot of children, and yes, I didn’t know about them all at first but I got over it because as long as you handle your responsibility and spend time with your children it’s not an issue for me. Another thing I want to set the record straight on is that AJ was married before. A lot of people make comments like, if he didn’t marry his other children’s mothers then why do you think he’s going to marry you.
She was more blunt about things when she spoke to E! online:
Will we see your wedding on camera?No, uh uh, it didn’t get that far. You will see us trying to plan, but you will see a lot of the problems and the different issues that are going on.
Of course, but are you still together? Um, we are dealing with things, but that’s about as far as I can go.
Have you set a date?We haven’t set a date and I’m just going to be real with you: We have been having serious issues. My drama has been ongoing since the taping has stopped. We just got engaged right before the taping of the show. So things that I would have to deal with or things I would have to learn about, I had to learn about and deal with it while the cameras were there, which makes things even more tense, you know what I mean?
