Singer Amerie did the unthinkable! She’s rocking a new bleach blonde look. The singer revealed her new do while hosting the Grey Goose 7th Annual Black Affair in Dallas, TX this weekend.

I’ve always wanted to go platinum blonde, and I figured I’d finally just do it. One of the things that inspired me are photos I’ve seen of children in the Solomon Island. They are very brown-skinned, and a lot of them grow white-blonde hair naturally. The contrast in dark skin and extremely light hair is really beautiful to me. So I just went for it!

Singer Lloyd chopped off his curly locs for a good cause. He debuted his new do via twitter and shocked fans around the world.

Lloyd says:

I’ve been growing my hair since 9th grade. It’s time for a new me.  The fact that my hair will go to someone that needs it more than me, makes me feel great about my decision.

He’s donating his hair to Locks of Love, a non-profit organization that uses hair to make hairpieces for individuals suffering from long-term medical hair loss.

So what do you think? Ahh who cares…he did it for the love of kids! Nice to see a brotha helping out those in need.

Last night I attended the premiere for “Why Did I Get Married Too?” which hits theatres April 2nd.  The celebs flooded NYC for the premiere last night at the School For Visual Arts. Janet Jackson showed up last to the red carpet, but she didn’t disappoint…….

Jill Scott was FAB-U-LOUS!!! Check out the new hair and weight loss…….

..And a little birdie told me that she’d be starring in the upcoming film “For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Wasn’t Enough”. I asked Jill about it last night and she claimed it was only a rumor…Umm Hmm.
