Last night, singer Kelly Rowland rocked the stage at Gramercy Park in NYC for the Walmart Soundcheck event. The R&B diva wow’d the crowd with performances of “When Love Takes Over,” “Commander,”  ”Rose Colored Glasses”, and even broke ‘em off with her new single “I’m That Chick.”

Model Jessica White and tennis star Serena Williams came out to show support….

Hmmm…. I didn’t realize Serena was shorter than Kelly.

Last night T.I. and Keri Hilson blazed the stage at a premiere after party for the movie “Takers.” Tip performed his 1st single, “Yeah Ya Know (Takers)” from his upcoming album King Uncaged and Miss Keri Baby graced the stage to perform “Got Your Back.” Give me that trench Keri!

Is it me or were their lips not moving correctly with the words to the song?

I really hate to break the news to you, but hey someone has to do it. One of our favorite R&B stud-muffins, Maxwell, has to decided to cancel the remainder of his tour dates after June 26th in New York.

According to FreddyO Maxwell has canceled the rest of his shows because he wasn’t getting along with Jill Scott and Erykah Badu. He was allegedly pissed because the ladies consistently go over on their time, each show, when their finish mark is actually 8:30. This limits the time Maxwell can woo the ladies and the amount of panties Maxwell can receive on stage that night. At the last concert, Maxwell snatched a pair of thongs from the stage, and inhaled deeply. He said, “ladies I want to smell it, I want to smell it…” If he doesn’t have the time to smell his thongs, there will be beef backstage.

There’s gotta be more to this story……Maxwell is too humble for this mess. You know I’ll be delving deeper for the real scoop (wink).

Trey Songz and Monica have announced new dates for the Pain, Passion & Pleasure Tour, which kicks off on August 6th in Louisiana and runs through mid-September. Coincidentally, the tour will wrap just in time for the release of Trey’s new studio disc- Pain, Passion & Pleasure.

It’s no surprise that Mr. Yuuuupp wants to stay on stage. He is absolutely in high demand right now… shoot he’s been making ladies faint at his shows, and giving some mouth-to-mouth action with some of his fans… No wonder, he wants to stay on the road!

Trey will also be performing at the Essence Music Festival over July 4th Weekend in New Orleans, and at the 2010 BET Awards next week in Los Angeles.

Just when we thought we had to wait til later this month at the BET Awards to see Kanye West  back in action, Ye’ mad a a surprise appearance in the UK this weekend during Jay Z’s performance of “Run This Town.” The event was held at the Isle of Wight Festival.
