Judge Says Occupy Wall Street Protestors Can Come Back With Tents

This morning at around 1am, the NYPD entered Zuccotti Park, also known as “Liberty Park.” They wore riot gear, had numerous police vehicles as well as a bulldozer. They began evicting the occupiers and arrested numerous protestors who have been there for two months now. This incident occurred because Mayor Bloomberg declared the park a health hazard and said it needed to be cleaned up.
Hours later Bloomberg said the protestors were welcome to come back without their tents, etc. which would make things extremely difficult for them as temperatures will be dropping soon in NYC. He said,
No right is absolute and with every right comes responsibilities. The First Amendment gives every New Yorker the right to speak out – but it does not give anyone the right to sleep in a park or otherwise take it over to the exclusion of others – nor does it permit anyone in our society to live outside the law.”
A judge has since ordered protesters be allowed back in the park with their things. By issuing this temporary restraining order the property cannot refuse entry to people with their tents.
You know the protestors have walked right back in with all of their tents and camping gear!!! Another hearing is set to happen later today that could end it all, but these people are extremely determined and clearly they will not go out quietly.
