Allen Iverson’s Wife Calls It Quits!

Last week I told you Allen Iverson decided to leave the Philadelphia 76ers indefinitely due to the illness of his 4 year-old daughter. Well if that’s not enough, Iverson’s wife Tawanna,  just announced that she’s packing her bags and wants a divorce…DAMN!

Tawanna filed a petition on Tuesday stating that her 8 1/2-year marriage was “irretrievably broken”. Plus Tawanna wants “temporary and permanent custody of their five children as well as child support and alimony.”

When it rains…it POURS! Hmm…but are we really shocked? “Irretrievably broken” usually means someone cheated. It’s no secret that Iverson’s been dipping his biscotti in everyone’s coffee cup. I’m just wondering why she decided to finally leave him NOW?!

Wyclef Jean Caught Cheating??

Wyclef found himself in hot water last night when his wife, Marie Claudinette, found naked pictures of his manager, Lisa Ellis, in his cell phone!

As any “sane” woman would, Marie immediately demanded that he fire her…but Wyclef and Lisa argue that the pictures were “artistic” in nature and were taken by celebrity photographer Marc Baptiste. Ummm ok, so why were they in Wyclef’s phone again???

So you better believe Marie forwarded the “artistic” pictures to SEVERAL associates in the industry…

Naomi Campbell Goes Postal…Again!!

Supermonstermodel Naomi Campbell is at it AGAIN!

Police say Naomi Campbell likely won’t face criminal charges in New York City after pummeling her driver in the head from th back seat of her luxury SUV yesterday.

The driver, who also drives for Campbell’s “very rich” boyfriend, decided not to pursue the matter criminally. She’s very lucky…Naomi knocked his head into the steering wheel. One day she is going to hit the wrong person and get a rude awakening. You feel me?

By the way, she took off after the assault and no one’s seen her since…she probably ran straight to the asylum! LOL ok…let me stop before the rumors start!

Allen Iverson Is On Hiatus From The NBA

According to EURWEB “Allen Iverson is taking an indefinite break from the Philadelphia 76ers to care for his 4-year daughter Messiah, who is suffering from an unknown illness.” Reports have indicated that “indefinite” could mean for the remainder of the season…and the team understands.

Team President ad General Manager, Ed Stefanski announced:

At this time, we feel that is in the best interest of the Sixers, Allen and his family that he be allowed to deal with a very serious issue that is far greater than the game of basketball.”

Messiah’s conditions are becoming worse and options are becoming limited.

We wish the Iverson’s the best and we sure hope that little Messiah gets better soon!

Kevin Hart Attempts To Explain Himself….

A few days ago Candi filed a restraining order against Evander Holyfield for putting his hands on her because she complained about the heat in their mansion being cut off.

Now the couple has decided to consult Dr. Phil about their marital problems and she’s dropped the restraining order against him.

The couple said:

“We are in agreement that we both are moving forward to reach out to meet with Dr. Phil one-on-one as we believe he is the one who can help us at this time…We each admire and respect Dr. Phil for his down to earth and heartfelt approach in working with couples and relationships in a positive and uplifting way.”

Aww SAVE it! We know ya’ll are trying to jump on the “I-want-a-reality-show” bandwagon.

Tiger Woods is making an effort to screw his head on straight……

Sources have confirmed that Tiger Woods has checked into a sex rehab facility in Arizona. He is set to stay there for another 5 to 6 weeks and his wife Elin has stayed away from the facility.

What’s Conan O’Brien’s future??

FX has added its name to the list of networks eager to add the host to their line-up. Of course bigger network, FOX has already thrown it’s hat in the ring. NBC head honcho Jeff Zucker has been quoted as saying he’ll keep Conan off air for at least three years due to a non- compete clause in his contract. Will America wait that long for Conan??

***Update: NBC is giving Conan $32.5 million to part ways and stay off the boob tube until September. That’s one helluva paid vacation.***

NBA star, 23 Year old Shawne Williams was booked Friday on felony drug charges. Police say Williams was one of 24 people indicted this week as part of Memphis Police Department’s “Operation Lockdown.”

Williams faces conspiracy charges and possession with intent to sell a codeine-based syrup. In all, Williams faces eight felony drug charges. He was indicted Tuesday, just hours after the 6′ 9″ forward was traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the New Jersey Nets.

This isn’t Williams’ first run-in with police. While playing with the Indiana Pacers in 2007, Williams was arrested on marijuana possession charges. A year later, a Memphis man wanted for murder, was arrested in Indiana after being found in williams SUV.

Authorities in California are looking for suspects in the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old man who played bass and toured the world with singer Lauryn Hill.The California Highway Patrol says Dewey Tucker was found dead in his vehicle Tuesday night while he was en route to band practice in Oakland.

At press time, investigators had made no arrests and believed Tucker was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. They say he had no criminal history.

Jermaine, Jackie, Marlon, and Tito may be as tired of their A&E show as is everybody else in America — we’re told the network has already offered them a second season … but so far, the brothers haven’t bitten. A rep confirmed the offer and said the network would gladly have MJ’s male siblings back for another round of “The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty” — which airs its last episode this Sunday.

But there’s one problem: we’re told the brothers haven’t responded to the offer yet.

It appears Shaq’s accuser has a history of problems with NBA players!!  

Vanessa Lopez, the woman accusing Shaquille O’Neal of carrying out a campaign of harassment against her has also been in the forefront of scandal with Denver nuggets forward Kenyon Martin and Cleveland Cavaliers guard Delonte West- all while she was secretly getting it in with Shaq!!

Back in 2006, Delonte West called security on Lopez, claiming she refused to leave his Orlando hotel room. Lopez then accused West of making unwanted sexual advances toward her. West acknowledged that he had slept with Lopez in the past — but claimed he never hit on her that night. West said Lopez tried to seduce him — but he rejected her because he had another woman coming over. . 

In 2007, Lopez had incident with Trina’s ex boo, Kenyon Martin. The NBA star’s business manager called police, claiming Lopez somehow got hold of Martin’s credit card and blew hundreds of dollars without Kenyon’s permission. 

Jayson Williams is set to be arraigned this morning from his hospital bed.

Williams is still in Bellevue Hospital’s criminal ward recovering from serious injuries he suffered in a car accident Tuesday morning — he was charged with DWI in the wreck. I hear a camera will be setup in Williams’ hospital room so the arraignment can be videocast to Manhattan Supreme Court. Damn!! Couldn’t they just wait until he recovered?? He’s barely conscious.

Terrell Owens is being accused of dropping the ball on a pre-season bet he lost to a fan…

The fan claims the Buffalo Bills receiver owes him a $200,000 Bentley because before the season started, Owens made a “deal” (through his Twitter page) to catch 10 TDs this year … or he would fork over the keys to his prized ride.  Oh Pulllleaze!!

The NBA has suspended Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas indefinitely!
In a statement, NBA commissioner David Stern said:

“Although it is clear that the actions of Mr. Arenas will ultimately result in a substantial suspension, and perhaps worse, his ongoing conduct has led me to conclude that he is not currently fit to take the court in an NBA game … Accordingly, I am suspending Mr. Arenas indefinitely, without pay, effective immediately pending the completion of the investigation by the NBA.”

Arenas is under investigation for bringing guns to the Verizon Center (where the Wizards play) and allegedly getting into a standoff with teammate Javaris Crittenton.

There will be no criminal charges for the late Chris Henry’s fiance Loleini Tonga. The just released statement from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police says she was not driving reckless:

“…there was no evidence of reckless driving or excessive speed.” Investigators determined she was driving no faster than 23 mph.”

The coroner’s office ruled the accidental death was caused by blunt force trauma to the head, the statement said.

Teddy Riley’s Responds to Daughter’s Abuse Accusations

Teddy Riley has responded to his daughters accusations that he rocked their world’s with a Rock Band guitar. The drama unfolded via twitter. Here’s his official statement:

Due to recent events, I am compelled to respond in detail to accusations made against me, by my daughters.

I love my Daughters, but I will not allow my children to disrespect me in my home. Contrary to what I have been accused of, I would never beat my children.

Perhaps, I should have been a stronger disciplinarian as they were growing up. I worked very hard so that my children would want for nothing.

In hindsight, I see that it was a mistake to give them everything they wanted so that they could have the childhood I never had. Unfortunately, they have taken me, and the privileged life I have given them, completely for granted.

Instead of being appreciative and realizing how fortunate they are, my children have an inflated sense of entitlement and expectation without having to work or earn their way.

However, my ‘children’ are no longer children, they are adults and I am trying to instill in them values and a work ethic of their own. My mother always told me “too many grown people can’t live in one house” so I encourage them to have their own homes if they cannot abide by the rules of mine. I am not an uptight Dad, I am as hip as they come but I will not tolerate being taken advantage of or disrespected, especially in my home.

I’ve been working since the age of 14, I bought my first car by myself. Nobody gave me a car. My kids don’t even remember their first car. I grew up with 6 of us in an apartment fighting over one bathroom. My kids have never had to share a bathroom, let alone a bedroom.

I’m asking everyone to let this one go… I’m only being a good parent. I’m a great father and everyone who knows me, knows this is true.

Keyshia Cole Pregalicious & Allegedly Cuts Off Mom & Sis

Keyshia Cole spent the holidays giving back to her old community in Oakland with her adoptive mother and friends. Here she is looking as cute and pregalicious as she wanna be…

Sources are claiming Keyshia has completely cut off communication with her sister Neffe and mother Frankie. 

“She sent no gifts, no Merry Christmas card and not even a text message their way for the holidays. The shadiest part of the whole story is that they say Keyshia sent gifts to her other celebrity friends and their kids.”
If there is any truth to this, then I guess Keyshia must be at her wits end with her family exploiting her name in exchange for their own fame. I heard through the grapevine this was the reason Keyshia refused to continue the reality show on BET and basically forbade them to do it as well. Frankie and Neffie chose to ignore Keyshia’s wishes and…….well let’s just say they’re getting the dial tone!

Tina Knowles Files for Divorce….

Tina Knowles has finally had enough of Papa Knowles’ extramarital activities and has reportedly filed for divorce. Mums the word on the filed documents, but Mrs. Knowles has supposedly started divorce proceedings.

Looks like all of Matthew Knowles secret meetings and “friends” has caught up with him! So sad. I hate to see black love fail.

Tiger’s Wife is OUT!!

Everyone is familiar with the Tiger Woods story by now.  Some people defend Tiger, others now hate Tiger.  Well it appears his wife, Elin, has had enough as her lawyers now claim that there is now a 100% chance of divorce.  Her reasons for divorce are obvious (adultery with the latest rumor being Woods had sex with Jessica Simpson) and from what I’m hearing money is not a big factor.  In fact she is losing millions by leaving him now rather then waiting.  According to the iron clad pre-nup she will walk away with a lump sum of 20 million dollars + child support for their 2 children.  In comparison if she was to stay for a few more years she would receive upwards of 50 + million.

I have to say that I gain respect for Elin Woods on this one.  20 million of unearned money is a lot and the child support will far outweigh the cost of raising 2 kids so she will have enough money.  She is young enough to find a new man and move on with her life.  I also think this is better for Tiger.  The trust is gone in the marriage and there is no need to have a wife constantly looking over your shoulder.  Now Tiger can do his thing without society looking down on him.

Question for the sisters though:  Does it bother you that NONE of Tiger’s many mistresses are black?
