This morning I got word that Gabourey Sidibe could be planning to launch a make-up line with the fabulous Bobbi Brown. A little birdie told me that Gabby was seen meeting with the make-up diva in a corporate setting. I’m willing to bet they weren’t talking about the weather! LOL

In fact, an article written about the launch party of Annemarie Iverson‘s new book, In Fashion hinted that we can expect big things from the Oscar nominated actress.

Perhaps the most surprising arrival of the night was “Precious” star Gabourey Sidibe, who said she had just finished “The Big C” for Showtime. Her connection to the party was apparently through Bobbi Brown, who had done the actress’s makeup for the Golden Globes. There was talk that Sidibe had been in the Bobbi Brown offices that day, discussing the possibility of doing a color cosmetics collection, but no one involved with the company would confirm the report.

We wouldn’t be surprised if Sidibe and Brown collaborated after Brown has expressed her affinity for real-looking girls as opposed to stick-thin models. In a recent interview with the L.A. Times about her new beauty book, Brown said, “There’s not one model in the book. The girl on the cover was a waitress in our town. A lot of the girls are friends’ daughters and I had a high school kid last year, so a lot of his friends were in it. I had three boys, but I watched these girls grow up from the time they were 3 years old, some of them.

Gabby keep the grind going!

Pop star Lady Gaga is featured on the September issue of  British Vanity Fair wearing nothing but a cat collar. In this photo, taken by Nicki Knight, I can say that for once Lady Gaga looks kind of normal.  The Fame Monster is currently working on her third studio album, due to hit stores early next year.

Beyonce will make a guest appearance on Britain’s Next Top Model on Monday! The diva will present one of the challenges to the hopeful models. Their challenge will be to shoot the commercial for her new fragrance, HEAT.

The fact that Mrs. Carter has agreed to guest on Britain’s Top Model, but never on Tyra Banks‘ Top Model makes me wonder, what type of pull Brit model Elle Macpherson has over Tyra?

Oh well… too bad we don’t get British channels here in the US, that’s gonna be an episode to see…. but I’m sure Americans will be able to stream the popular show online! POW!

Solange Knowles recently confessed that she doesn’t really like her big sister’s clothing line House of Dereon. Solange, who was initially snagged as the face of the brand’s Junior line,  doesn’t think Dereon represents her unique style.

“I initially was involved as the spokesperson, but the clothes just didn’t reflect my personal style and I decided to hand that over. That’s the great thing about my family. We work together so closely that if something’s not working out, we can be honest about it and there won’t be any grudges or issues…I will say though, they did just do a bedding line that I am extremely in love with and I was like, ‘Can I model that… in my house?”

Well, there you have it– you gotta love Solange’s brutal honesty! Not so sure if Beyonce is happy with her stance on Dereon though?!?!? Silence is golden.

Khloe Kardashian celebrated her 26th birthday this past Sunday, and her big sis Kim bought her the best present ever– a pair of leopard print Louboutins!!!

So do y’all love these puppies or what? I think this is the first pair of Louboutins I HATE!
