There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding Drake putting out a posthumous album of Aaliyah, who was lost tragically in August 2001 in a place crash. Timberland and Missy Elliott, longtime friends of the late singer, were said to “definitely be involved” in the production of the album, according to Aaliyah’s label, Blackguard Records, but Mona Scott-Young, Missy’s manager, is speaking out to dispel the rumors.

Although Missy and Timbaland always strive to keep the memory of their close friend alive, we have not been contacted about the project nor are there any plans at this time to participate. We’ve seen the reports surfacing that they have been confirmed to participate but that is not the case. Both Missy and Timbaland are very sensitive to the loss still being felt by the family so we wanted to clear up any misinformation being circulated.”

Earlier this month, Drake put out a new song, “Enough Said” which featured a previously unreleased vocal from Aaliyah. Her brother and family said they would not support any project involving Aaliyah.

23-year-old Rihanna took to Twitter to deny reports adult magazine Hustler was saying about her. Apparently, the mag has a sex tape of her and J. Cole in their possession. In response, the Barbadian beauty tweeted:

We don’t believe U, U need more people…AND ofcourse an actual sextape! #slownewsday

A source close to RiRi told E! News that these reports are false and there is no tape.

J. Cole, who records under Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label, recently opened for Rihanna on her “Loud” tour. He also took to Twitter and denied a tape.

Gossip Gossip, n***a just stop it.”

Hustler stands by their word thus far, so it’ll be interesting to see how this turns out. Do you guys think there’s a tape??

Chris Brown once again finds himself in the news for yet another gay slur. Star Magazine is reporting that Brown was seen yelling anti-gay slurs during a pick up basketball game at a 24 hour fitness center in Los Angeles.

An onlooker tells the magazine that,

He got really ticked off when things didn’t go his way during the game, saying, ‘That’s gay!’ and ‘You’re a f*gg*t a**!’ to the other players.”

The source went on to say,

There was no physical contact, but he was verbally aggressive. His demeanor was over the top.”

Chris Brown continues to make one bad PR move after another. It’s possible that he uses these slurs as a way to express frustration and has nothing against the gay community; however it would wise for him to realize these words are now a social taboo.

It’s Brown’s talent that has carried him thus far, but if this bad behavior continues talent will not be enough to to carry him…for example, Mel Gibson.

R&B singer Mashonda has launched a new lifestyle website and blog just in time for Valentine’s Day called MashandaLoyal.com. To no surprise the website launches approximately a month shy of her new VH1 reality show, Love and Hip-Hop, which is slated to air on the network on March 14th.

Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Nene Leakes will soon be adding a new title to her belt– Grandma!! Reports have hit the Internet alleging that Leakes’ eldest son, Bryson, is expecting a child with his on-again-off-again Atlanta gal pal. As expected, Nene wasn’t too thrilled to learn that she’s a soon-to-be “Nana” at the early age of 42. A source close to Leakes has dished to RadarOnline about the impending birth.

The source says:

NeNe threw a ‘real hissy fit’ when she found out and she really laid-into Bryson. Not only does she hate the idea of becoming a grandmother in her forties [but] she believes that she will be left picking-up the tab for the baby because her son still lives at home and does not have a steady income. Bryson is still dating the girl, who is a local from Atlanta, but by no means is it a steady and secure relationship. NeNe believes that neither of them is mature enough to be parents but it’s understood that the girl is definitely going to have the baby.

No word on if the baby drama will make it on to the next season on RHOA, but best believe Bryson will certainly be taking a paternity test once the baby arrives.

As we previously reported Nene Leakes‘ estranged hubby, Greg, went on a radio show (LargeFM) and spilled the beans that he’s sick and tired of her “brand new” attitude. According to him, Nene’s new found fame has gotten to her head and now he wants the $300,000 he spent on her  in season one, plus alimony.

LEAKES: One of the things I hope people are able to get is that long before that scene came out there was a lot of blogging saying I was cheating on Gregg and that Gregg was this great guy and he’s done so much for me. People were saying things like, ‘He took her out of the strip club” and stuff like that. My producers were with me when all this stuff was going down and they were trying to keep me sane.

ESSENCE.com: So are you and Gregg still together?
LEAKES: We are still together. We are in the same house and we are still legally married. But that’s not to say we won’t be unmarried.

ESSENCE.com: How is your relationship? Are you cordial?
LEAKES: We are cordial, and it is very much of an up and down thing. One day is good, the next day is bad. That’s what I’m really tired of. And I’m very aware that the 40s for me, are the new 30s and that I need to be happy because life is very short.

The magazine’s headline reads “Bishop Eddie Long at the Center of the Scandal that Rocked the Church World,” and yes church folk everywhere are in an uproar. Christians see this decision as a means of making “light” of the Bishop’s recent lawsuit. Many feel that he’s still being celebrated in the midst of scandal.

Former R&B singer Montell Jordan announced last week via Twitter that after his New Year’s Eve concert, he’s heading straight to the pulpit. Jordan said in 2011 he’ll be taking the throne as pastor at World Victory Church in Norcross, Georgia.

It’s just been an amazing career. And it has been great. But it’s a calling that’s probably been with me all my life since I was a child.

A German woman is fighting for custody over her silicon “enhancements” after a relationship turned sour. The 20-year-old signed a loan agreement with her then boyfriend, Carsten, who agreed to pay for the operation in exhange for a year long committement. Unfortunately the two broke-up and now he wants his money.

It’s true that Carsten signed a loan agreement shortly before the operation. The condition was that I wouldn’t have to pay him back if I stayed with him for a year.

Thus far Anastasia has coughed up nearly $4,000, but that’s no where near the $5,865 that he paid. Her ex-boyfriend is pissed and is demanding ALL of his money back or he’s calling the cops and getting the repossessors involved!

Comedian Dave Ismay was told by his doctors that he had only 10 weeks to live. Docs told Ismay he had liver cirrhosis and would be dead in about three months. So what did he do? He decided to compose a “bucket list” of all the things he ever wanted to do before he took his last breath. He bought a $41,000 Mercedes, took extravagant trips and casted his eyes on playing golf at the luxurious K Club in Ireland. All in all, Ismay spent his entire life savings.

Well, to Ismay’s surprise the doctors later realized his hereditary condition is treatable! *gasps* and he could live several more years…..but with no money. That alone could cause a heart attack.

While many people would be pissed about the incorrect diagnosis, Ismay has chosen to take the high road:

To be told you only have three months left to live really focuses your mind and brings everything into perspective.
