Chris Brown Tests Positive For Marijuana While On Probation

Chris Brown failed a drug test while he was on probation and tested positive for marijuana.

Back in June in Virginia, Brown took a test and Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg has now revealed that he did indeed test positive, however, mandatory drug testing was not a condition of Brown’s probation.

Yesterday in an LA court, Schnegg told Chris,

You are not an ordinary person who can sit in your living room and do whatever you want to do. More importantly, a lot of people look up to you, a lot of kids. What you do and what you say impacts a lot of people.”

Following his positive test, Brown, halfway through a five year probation following his assault on Rihanna, showed the judge he does in fact have a medical marijuana card. On November 1st he will have a hearing which will ultimately determine if he did violate his probation. Schnegg could have taken action and sent him to jail, but let him off with just a warning. Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, said his client has “completed all of his community service.”

Do you think Brown got let off easy because of his celebrity status?

Chad Johnson Files Divorce Documents

Chad Johnson seems to have finally accepted the fact that his marriage to Evelyn Lozada is done. He filed divorce documents where he stated the marriage was ”irretrievably broken,” just as Evelyn did a month ago.

In his papers, Chad did say the two have a prenup which he would like to see enforced, which includes they each pay for their own lawyers in this instance. Evelyn had requested he pay for her legal fees. Johnson is also asking a judge to block Evelyn’s request that he foot her bills for the divorce proceedings.

The divorce is not yet finalized, but I’m sure Evelyn is ready to close the book on this chapter and move on.

‘Basketball Wives” Kenya Bell Scores BIG In Divorce With Estranged Husband

“Basketball Wives” Kenya Bell’s divorce with former NBA star Charlie Bell has been finalized and she is walking away a lot richer. The two have been intertwined in a nasty battle over money. Charlie wanted Kenya to be his support system claiming he doesn’t make any money right now through the NBA and Kenya wanted him to pay child support, because he does have seven-figures in savings.

This is how the final rulings were:

Kids: Charlie has to shell out $1,000/month in child support, but they’ll share custody of their two daughters. Neither party has to cough up spousal support.

Homes: Kenya scored the marital home in Michigan, along with the home bought for her parents. Charlie gets the condo in Vegas and the home he bought his parents.

Money: Kenya was awarded $780,000 cash from Charlie’s savings … leaving him with $656,000. She also gets half of the $670,000 from another account.

Here’s where Kenya wins big: she gets HALF OF EVERYTHING from the following: Charlie’s NBA 401k plan, his NBA retirement plan, his NBA pension, NBA welfare plan and NBA supplement benefit plan.”

Charlie won’t get ANY money from Kenya’s stint with the VH1 reality show.

Memphitz Drops Federal Lawsuit Against VH1 & K. Michelle

Following last night’s part 2 of  the reunion of VH1′s hit reality show, “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” Memphitz, who used to manage and date one of the show’s stars, K. Michelle, has filed a multimillion dollar lawsuit against Michelle, VH1 and more.

Conti Moore, lawyer for Mickey “Memphitz” Wright, confirms that Wright is in the process of filing a defamation suit against K. Michelle. Throughout the tv series, she alleged that Memphitz abused her and she did not hold back on any details. She and Memphitz’s wife, Toya Wright, have had a lot of public beef on Twitter as well in regards to the situation.

In a statement released today, Memphitz stated,

My family and I have suffered tremendously while VH-1, Monami Ent., and the other companies provided a worldwide platform for K. Michelle to repeatedly assassinate my character. The filing of this suit is to compensate for the irreparable damage that has been done to my reputation and to deter these companies from doing such future harm to others.”

With that said, Memphitz is suing not only K.Michelle, but also NFGTV Inc, Exec. Producer Mona Scott Young‘s company Monami Entertainment & VH1′s parent company Viacom. Memphitz is asking for $1 per viewer per episode that his character has been defamed.  There were 12 episodes of the season, including two reunion shows, and every single show has 3-4 million viewers. Needless to say, this is a hefty lawsuit.

Model Sues Selita Ebanks For Breaking Her Nose Over Terrence J

Victoria Secret’s model, Selita Ebanks, is being sued by another model from Miami who says that last year Selita broke her nose over Terrence JLiza Irizary says she was struck by Selita ouside of a club for kissing Terrence J. Liza has been friends with Terrence for a few years now and says it was a kiss on the cheek saying goodbye. Selita is said to have taken it for more than it was and wasn’t having it. Liza told the New York Daily News,

I was in so much pain. My pillow was covered in blood. When she saw me, she said, ‘Don’t be kissing my man.’ I said to myself, ‘So what, that’s my friend.’ That’s when she hit me on the nose. I went to swing back — that’s when all her friends jumped in. I felt hair pulling and fists coming at me.”

The next day Liza realized her nose was broken and the doctors told her she had a complex nasal fracture and nasal obstruction that required surgery.

I’m so angry, because she thinks she can get away with anything. You shouldn’t be allowed to put your hands on anyone for no reason. Me saying hello to someone doesn’t give you the right to hit me.”
