Yesterday, the net was swirling with rumors that Mariah Carey may be getting the boot from “American Idol” due to low ratings, and that Jennifer Lopez, who was a judge on the show last season, would be coming back.

Carey’s husband, Nick Cannon, has spoken out on these reports. He told Access Hollywood,

Whatever happens with that show, I think she’s had a great time.”

Mariah’s rep has denied the reports that she was on the outs, and Cannon says that regardless of any outcome, his wife is a force to be reckoned with anyway you look at it.

But she’s a global superstar. I don’t think she’s ever in need of a job. She made a decision to do that show because she really wanted to connect with the contestants. I don’t think she’s thinking about the future of it.”

This season’s ratings are the lowest Idol has ever seen since the show debuted in 2002 so there most likely will be backlash of some sort. We will have to wait and see what happens!

After causing a stir due to a photo posted on Instagram, Fantasia Barrino wants everyone to know she is NOT pregnant! The pic featuring Fanny with her hands strategically placed on her abdomen led many to believe the singer was expecting once again. To clear up any confusion, she took to Twitter to clarify that they ony thing she is “delivering” is a great album:

To make sure everyone was clear on the matter, and a few other rumors floating around, Tasia also posted on Instagram about her recent breakdown at a concert and the speculation about her boyfriend Antwaun Cook cheating on her:

I’m NOT PREGNANT, I’M NOT SAD, I’M NOT BEING CHEATED ON, I DON’T CRY ON STAGE CAUSE I’m HURT!!! It’s cause I give God Praise. Lol”

There have been a lot of rumors that have followed Beyonce throughout her pregnancy and now even months after she gave birth to her daughter with Jay-Z, Blue Ivy. First, people claimed her baby bump was fake, and the rumors started to swirl that she and Jay had a surrogate carry their daughter.

The singer, 30, told People,

That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy. [I thought] ‘Where did they come up with this?’”

Being the class act she is, Bey brushed off the rumors, but her mom, Tina Knowles, had a bit more to say.

I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months. As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous.”

In regards to the rumors of the prosthetic bump,

It was a fabric that folded — does fabric not fold? Oh my gosh, so stupid.”

Tina proceeded to say that the love and support for her daughter from her fans around the world made the false accusations easier to deal with.

There was so much love and well wishes from all over the world — it made it easier to deal with the stupid rumors.”

I must say, she does seem to be taking everything in stride, so I commend her on that!

It’s a bird. It’s a plane……no it’s Sooooooouuuuuuul Plane!!

The rumor mill has been spinning all day and it claims that Tyler Perry bought American Airlines. If this is true, its a big Willy Wonka move if I’ve ever seen one!!!!

According to reports:

Tyler Perry reportedly made an offer to buy American Airlines. They accepted. The new airline: African-American Airlines.

The Texas-based AMR Corporation, the parent company of American Airlines, announced that the company filed petitions for Chapter 11 reorganization in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, “in order to achieve
a cost and debt structure that is industry competitive and thereby assure its long-term viability and ability to continue delivering a world-class travel experience for its customers.”

WWN has learned that wealthy actor-director Tyler Perry has made an attractive offer for American Airlines. The offer, said to be near $5 billion dollars, was quickly accepted by the airline.

“Mr. Perry made a bold, brilliant move… he is the smartest mogul in the county,” said a source close to American Airlines. ”No other businessman in the country had the guts to try to bail out the biggest airline in the United States.”

One things for sure……that airline would be a moving target. You alllllllllready know.

**This just in…after calls to Tyler Perry’s camp, we’ve uncovered that these claims are false. His reps did find the joke very funny however.

Our favorite RHOA housewife Nene Leakes paid a visit to The Ellen Show to let it all out on how she really feels about Star Jones! Last week, rumors were circulating that the two divas were trying to call a truce and work on getting along. Well I guess that has gone all out the window now. Nene tried to hold back, but with a little prompting from Ellen, she spilled the beans…again… about her experience with her Celebrity Apprentice cast member.

The Georgia peach told Ellen she thinks Star is manipulative, conniving and a complete “disaster.” Wow…well don’t hold back Nene! Lol

Video model Toyin Koyejo just blew his big shot as Nicki’s leading man in her upcoming video.

We’re told Toyin was originally cast, but was booted to the background after production found out he tweeted the name of her video. Nicki had opted to keep the title of the song secret to surprise her fans.

TMZ reports that, “Apparently, right after he tweeted from the set, a less than happy member of the crew let Toyin know that he had violated his confidentiality agreement by putting out the information. Toyin, who was almost fired, allegedly gave a million apologies and was then given a background role.”

Toyin claims that he NEVER knew the song title was to be kept a secret.

What a way to let such an amazing opportunity slip through your hands *smh* I’ll be sure to have my magnifying glass ready to search for him amongst the extras in the background.
