Reports are saying that Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital for a possible suicide attempt.

The only daughter of the late Michael Jackson is currently being hospitalized. Around 2AM this morning, Paris was taken out of her Calabasas home on a stretcher. Initial reports stated that it was a “possible overdose” but her mom Debbie Rowe told Entertainment Tonight that Paris had slit her wrists. She also said that her daughter has had “a lot going on” but did not further elaborate.

Andre 3000 is certainly not having a good birthday week. Just one day after his 38th birthday, he sadly lost his mother, Sharon Benjamin-Hodo at the age of 58. She reportedly passed Tuesday evening at her home in Rex, Georgia.  Sharon is survived by her husband Robert Hodo, who is the pastor of New Morning Light Missionary Baptist Church in Conley, Ga.

Please keep the families of Oklahoma in your prayers. Last night, just outside of Oklahoma City, in the city of Moore, suburbs were destroyed by a MASSIVE tornado.

Reports state that there has been a number of deaths and injuries. The hospitals have spoken and said there are allegedly 145 injured people and 70 of them are children. Medical examiner spokeswoman, Amy Elliot,  initially reported to the New York Times that 91 people have already died but that number has been lowered to 24 deaths, 8 children at this current time.

Unfortunately, there is a possibility that these numbers of deaths and injuries could increase. Lets pray they don’t.

Chris “MacDaddy” Kelly’s untimely death yesterday has left friends and family devastated. Jermaine Dupri, head of SoSo Def Records, discovered Kris Kross, consisting of Kelly and Chris “DaddyMac” Smith, two decades ago and produced their hit “Jump” as well as three of the duo’s albums.

Jermaine has now spoken out about losing the rapper who was “like a son” to him.

Initial reports show Kelly, 34, may have died from a drug overdose. TMZ is reporting that he mixed cocaine and heroin the night prior to his passing.

After the death, cops spoke with Donna Kelly Pratt — Chris’ mother — who told police … the night before Kelly’s medical emergency, he had taken a mixture of heroin and cocaine — commonly known as “speedballs.”

Donna told police she had personally taken Kelly home to recover from the drug use … just as she had done several times before. Donna told cops Kelly had felt nauseous all morning before passing out.

According to the report, Kelly’s mother and Kelly’s uncle both told investigators the rapper had an “extensive history of drug use.”

Sad news to report… Rapper Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly of Kris Kross has died at just 34 years old.

Kelly was found unresponsive at his Atlanta home yesterday and brought to the Atlanta Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy is planned to take place this morning to determine the cause of death.

It seems just like yesterday when Chris joined the other half of the popular rap duo, Chris Smith, at the 20th anniversary concert for Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def label a few months ago. Chris’ mom, Donna Kelly Pratte, and his So So Def family put out a joint statement which reads:

It is with deep sadness that we announce that our beloved Chris Kelly has passed away on May 1. To millions of fans worldwide, he was the trendsetting, backwards pants-wearing one-half of Kris Kross who loved making music. But to us, he was just Chris – the kind, generous and fun-loving life of the party. Though he was only with us a short time, we feel blessed to have been able to share some incredible moments with him. His legacy will live on through his music, and we will forever love him.

“Good Morning America’s” Robin Roberts is back in the hospital.

Roberts underwent a bone marrow transplant last year and had returned to GMA following her recovery and was a true image of strength. She was recently on vacation when she got sick and again will be off the air for some time until she feels back at her full potential. She took to her Facebook to explain:

My heart continues to go out to the remarkably strong people of Boston. We stand by you now and always.
It saddens me that I haven’t been able to join my colleagues in covering this important story.

Last week, in the middle of my Key West vacation, I began not to feel well. Nothing serious, just under the weather. I contacted my doctors and flew back to NYC. They felt it best to admit me into the hospital for a few days. Seems my young immune system needed a little boost to fight off ‘opportunistic infections.’

My doctors assured me that this was NOT because I was working or doing too much, too soon. It’s extremely common, post bone marrow transplant, to have complications. I’m blessed that mine have not been severe.

I’m feeling MUCH better, and will relax at home for the rest of the week. I’ll be back on GMA next week…as my sweet momma would say: ‘Good Lord willing and the creek don’t rise!’”
