On Thursday a 603-pound woman in Thailand left her apartment for the first time in three years with the help of Bangkok city hall and a forklift. Yes chile’ the neighbors of 40-year-old Umnuayporn Tongprapai reached out to the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority after news traveled that she needed medical attention to remove a tumor in her right leg.

Tongprapai who is believed to be the heaviest resident of Thailand attracted a media frenzy. Crews from near and afar came to document the event that involved demolition crews, engineers, rescue workers, doctors and nurses.

Tongprapai says:

I’ve been living in this room and have not gone outside for three years. I can walk a little, just enough that I can go to bathroom. But I have to cling to my son the whole way.

It’s been two weeks since we received shocking news that American Idol star, Fantasia Barrino, was hospitalized for taking a mix of aspirin and sleeping pills.  The songstress is now admitting that she was purposely trying to kill herself.  

This morning Fantasia sat down with Robin Roberts of “Good Morning America” to explain what really went through her mind on that gloomy day….

I think I was just overloaded with everything, with carrying six years of so much.I always take a licking and keep on ticking…it just became heavy for me to the point that I just wanted to be away from the noise. There’s so much that people don’t understand. They just see the glitz and the glamour, and they feel like life is so perfect, but we’re human and we go through things.

The thing that disturbs me the most about this is that Fantasia has a little girl. How do you explain to your child that you tried to off yourself and leave them behind?

As crazy as it sounds, an increasing number of sexually active young Chinese women are getting a surgical “hymen restoration” procedure so they can appear to be virgins on their wedding night.

‘We can fix it so everything is perfect, so the men can believe they are marrying virgins,’ said Zhou Hong, a physician and director of gynecology at the Beijing Wuzhou Women’s Hospital. ‘We don’t advertise it; we don’t publicize it.

A procedure with a price tag of $700 returns the hymen back to its original condition. While the hymen is usually ruptured during a female’s first sexual experience, it can also be ruptured while playing sports or doing any strenuous activities.

These poor girls are forced to “get right” before their wedding, while their future hubby can prance around like “Thumper” and hop on every woman he sees. What a load of crap!

Broadway actress Shannon Tavarez will undergo a life-saving surgery today. The 11-year-old who played Nala in the Broadway production of “The Lion King” was diagnosed with a rare acute form of leukemia. 

Today little Shannon will get an umbilical-cord blood transplant. After many unsuccessful attempts to find a bone-marrow match, doctors opted for this kind of treatment in efforts to save the young girl’s life. Shannon’s mom, Odiney Brown, is African American and her dad is Hispanic. Both groups are under represented as far as bone marrow donors registrars. 

Odiney Brown says:

I’m just praying everything works. She’s in good spirits. She’s singing and playing the piano. She can’t wait. She calls this her ‘new birthday.’

Wow…a little girl, with such a big heart. I bet you and I could learn a lot from her.

R&B singer Fantasia Barrino was hospitalized on Monday after her manager, Brian Dickens, dialed 9-1-1 because the American Idol star overdosed on aspirin and sleeping aid. She was admitted to Mercy South Hospital in Pineville, North Carolina where she was treated for exhaustion and dehydration.

We can breathe easy now that we’ve learned that she’s in stable condition. It’s said that Fantasia was feeling “overwhelmed by the lawsuit and media attention” circulating around her relationship with boyfriend Antwaun Cook, and the alleged lawsuit brought up by his ex-wife Paula Cook for destroying their marriage.

Fantasia’s manager Brian Dickens says:

She was totally overwhelmed by the lawsuit and the media attention alleging she was involved with married man. Fantasia was hospitalized. She took an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid. Her injuries are not life threatening. She was dehydrated and exhausted at the time. Fantasia is stable now. She will be released from the hospital soon.

This story has started a media frenzy! You see how things can get REAL ugly when getting involved with a married man? Fantasia claims she didn’t know that Antwaun was still married, but chile’ if that rumored sex tape is real..this is going to be one tough case to fight.

A Miami-area man named Lee Willy DeJesus is facing second-degree murder after using his 2-year-old son, Willy, as a punching bag.

DeJesus claims he was trying to teach his son Willy how to box by hitting him 15 times over a 15-minute time period resulting in the poor baby being pronounced brain dead.

Pardon my French…but what the f@&k is going on with people nowadays? What kind of father puts boxing gloves on and slugs his son so hard in the head that he becomes a vegetable?!

Authorities plan to upgrade charges filed against DeJesus to first degree murder once the boy is taken off life support.

Did I forget to mention this scum-bag of a father waited an entire hour before dialing 911, and initially tried to accuse the babysitter of inflicting bruises on 2-year-old Willy?
