For a while Ushers, Atlanta wine bar, The Grape, was the place to be. He was expecting the wine bar to go global like 40/40. Unfortunately, The Grape has been forced to close. This recession is reaching everyone. According to reports, its parent company, Grape Enterprise Group, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Well at least Tameka Foster, his wife,will be bringing in some extra dough as this seasons addition to “The Real Housewives of the ATL” Meooooooowww!

Earlier this week we heard the tragic news of the murders of Knicks baller Eddie Curry’s ex-girlfriend Nova and her 9 month old child Ava .  Up until now is was thought that the little girl was by another man.  Ava was not claimed by Eddie as his, only their three year old son who police say may have witnessed the murders.   A paternity test was just done and it states that Eddie was indeed the fatherof Ava.   The suspect in custody for the murders is Nova’s ex-lover and lawyer….so dude was not just a hoodlum. Perhaps he found out the baby was Eddie’s and  thats why he……..wow! very sad indeed.

I broke the news of Kelly Rowland’s plans to leave Papa Knowles wayyy back in the first week of December 2008 on BET’s “The Black Carpet” tv show.

After which, it was denied vehemently and parties involved asked for a retraction. I lovvvve to say ” I told you so”. Here is the official statement:

“After a very positive meeting between Kelly Rowland and myself, we have amicably agreed to end our professional relationship. My company, Music World, will continue to manage Destiny’s Child as a group. As an artist Kelly has incredible talent and I only wish her the best. We will always be family first and foremost, and as a dad I only have love for Kelly.”

And Rowland says:

“Mathew Knowles has been a positive influence in my career. I have had great success under his guidance — both as a member of Destiny’s Child and with my solo projects. Although we have decided to part ways professionally, the Knowles family and the entire Music World Entertainment team will always be my family.”

So to all my haters and naysayers, in the words of the illustrious Tina Fey “Suck Itttttttttttt”. Word on the street is that Simon Cowell is trying to manage her. Additionally, there have been rumors that Kelly Rowland Miami home is up for sale for $500,000 because she wan’t to get out of the US as fast as possible. I hear the UK has really taken to her and she plans on making that her permanent home.

A man apparently distraught because he and his wife had lost their jobs killed his spouse and five young children before committing suicide in the family’s suburban Los Angeles home Tuesday. Police said Ervin Lupoe, pictured above with his family, even faxed a letter to a local television station in which he explained “why we are dead.”

This recession has got people taking desperate measures….such a heartbreaking story. But nothing is ever so bad that you have to kill your family. Godspeed.
