ATL Real Housewives Back in Action

There are talks going around that Atlanta attorney Phaedra Parks will be joining the hit reality show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta…..

“Umm..who is she?”

Phaedra Parks is a mucho successful attorney with clientele that includes Bobby Brown & Jermaine Dupri. Rumor has it she’ll replace either Lisa Wu-Hartwell or Sheree Whitfield as early as next month. According to MTO, the “catch 22″ with her is that her NEW husband, Apollo Nida, is on PAROLE!

“Parole???”

Yes chile I said on parole! Apparently Apollo was convicted for being the ring leader in an auto theft operation a few years back. And to make matters worse, he has spent almost “SIX of the past TWELVE years in PRISON on two unrelated crimes.”…hmmph this could get juicy!

On a lighter note..our bubbly Kandi Burruss films an All-Housewives version of Millionaire…

Beginning Monday, you can catch Kandi and her fellow housewives” for a week long “Real Housewives” edition of “Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Sadly enough, Kandi will be the only Atlanta cast member, sources have said that Sheree Whitfield and Lisa Wu Hartwell have read pre-taped questions. But for some reason, Nene and Kim declined…I wonder what’s up with that?

Kandi’s episodes will air Wednesday, February 24 and Thursday, February 25th.

Toni Braxton Gets a Reality Show

Ok..at this point it is not about WHO is getting a reality show, but rather WHO is NOT!

Toni Braxton will reportedly star in a Bravo reality show titled, “Family Values” this fall. The show is said to revolve around her family and her return to the spotlight.

“Family Values” will premiere following the release of Braxton’s new disc, “Pulse.”

Look out!  It’s Paul Wife and his Wife Crystal…

Yes rapper Paul Wall and wife, Crystal, will be getting their own reality show. As the details are rolling in, the show is said to focus on Paul Wall’s life as a husband/father, while balancing life as a family man and rap star…

In case you are wondering,  Paul Wall is currently working on his 5th solo album, “Heart of a Champion” and has an upcoming performance with former rival Chamillionaire on March 17th at SXSW in Austin, Texas. This is the first time in years that the two have shared the same stage.

“It’s All About Faith”…Evans?

After five years, Faith Evans is returning back to the music industry. “Why?”…hmm I am not sure myself…

Along with her return, Faith will be debuting her new reality series, “It’s All About Faith.” The reality series is co-producecd by Evans and Ten2One Entertainment and will explore Faith’s 5 year hiatus from the music industry, her marriage between her husband/manager, Todd Russaw and their four children.

Faith’s 6th album is due later this year, and she’s doing it on her own with Prolific Music Group.

Well one thing is for sure, she is keeping the “FAITH!”

“Daddy’s [NOT] Home”, he’s running late…

Usher’s new CD, “Raymond Vs. Raymond” was scheduled to be released Sunday, but now has been delayed until March 30th until he finds a new manager.

In case you have forgotten Usher’s mother, Jonetta Patton, was his manager until they decided to end all “professional relationships” in late November 2009. Jive Records has refused to to release the new album until he is under new management.

In the interim, Usher has been working with AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips, who was serving as Michael Jackson’s manager at the time of his death in June.

Howard Stern wants you to SHOW HIM THE MONEY!…

Howard Stern could be replacing Simon Cowell on American Idol — if the money is right.

Howard admitted:

“it would be the best thing that happened to me…they’d have to pay me a ton of dough because I already make a ton of dough. A hundred-million dollars to judge a karaoke contest? Yeah, I would do that show for 100-million dollars.”

The shock jock, whose five-year contract with Sirius is up at the end of the year, said he’d quit radio if he took the TV gig.

Can you blame him??

Speaking of American Idol…

Ellen DeGeneres will be at the judges’ table on tonight’s American Idol. 157 singers will have their dreams systematically crushed as they whittle the golden-ticket group from 181 to the Top 24 in the Hollywood Round.

First Oprah announces her retirement and now Tyra Banks is following suit.

Tyra has announced that after five seasons of “The Tyra Show”, she’s ending the show next spring. This comes as a shock to many. TV gabbers thought Oprah’s retirement would leave the door wide open for Tyra to become America’s next sweetheart. Insiders say that hosting a talk show was never really a passion for Tyra, she only did it because her advisors told her it was her “next step”. Apparently Ty-Ty wants to get married and have some babies, but her TV schedule doesn’t permit. Tyra says she will now focus on her production company and tv and movies.

Shaunie O’Neal Airs Out Marraige to Shaq on Reality Show

IT’S ABOUT TO GO DOWWWN!! Somebody pass me the popcorn.

Shaunie O’Neal, Shaq’s estranged wife, pitched a show to VH1 called “Basketball Wives” and now it’s scheduled to start production this month with an air date of March 15, 2010.

A total of 6 women (wives, finances and baby mamas) will be appearing on the show including Dwight Howard’s baby mama, Royce Reed, who was just recently told by a judge that she can’t even mention Dwight’s name…this ought to be really interesting.

Other cast members include Jennifer Williams (wife of Eric Williams), Evelyn Lozada (ex-fiancé of Antoine Walker), Mesha O’Neal (wife of Jermaine O’Neal), and Faith Rain (Udonis Haslem’s girlfriend).

Real Housewives whaaaaa???? I anticipate this show being even juicier.
