Jamie Foxx is returning to a TV near you….

I hear Jamie just developed a sketch comedy for Fox entitled The Jamie Foxx Project. After working out a few kinks with the show, the Fox network decided to order 12 episodes! 

The show will remind many of In Living Color, but with a splash of pop culture. This should definitely be dope!! I’m surprised it took him so long to return to his roots. Let’s just hope they can keep it fresh and funky like In Living Color .

The Jamie Foxx Project is set to premiere this fall.

It’s been two weeks since we received shocking news that American Idol star, Fantasia Barrino, was hospitalized for taking a mix of aspirin and sleeping pills.  The songstress is now admitting that she was purposely trying to kill herself.  

This morning Fantasia sat down with Robin Roberts of “Good Morning America” to explain what really went through her mind on that gloomy day….

I think I was just overloaded with everything, with carrying six years of so much.I always take a licking and keep on ticking…it just became heavy for me to the point that I just wanted to be away from the noise. There’s so much that people don’t understand. They just see the glitz and the glamour, and they feel like life is so perfect, but we’re human and we go through things.

The thing that disturbs me the most about this is that Fantasia has a little girl. How do you explain to your child that you tried to off yourself and leave them behind?

NFL player Chad Ochocinco has royally pissed off VH1. The reality star spilled all the juice about his dating life on twitter, but apparently it has NOTHING to do with his dating show on VH1. Word is that Ochocinco has been dating Evelyn Lozada of VH1′s Basketball Wives for the past several months, while his dating show on VH1 is still in rotation! *brows raised*

So there you have it, Ochocinco won’t be taking not nan woman home. If that’s not enough, there are even whispers that he’ll be making a cameo on Basketball Wives with Evelyn next season. Wowwww!

Hmm…is this a set up? Boy I tell you these reality shows of today always have something up their sleeve.

Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 3 is coming to a TV near you. We got our hands on the upcoming season’s promo, and as you know my girl Lisa Wu-Hartwell is not in it. As we previously reported, Mrs. Wu-Hartwell opted out of the third season because she did not want to portray some outlandish drama queen when she most certainly is not.

Instead, we welcome the new housewives Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey to the show. A few weeks ago I told you that Phaedra was already causing major drama with Nene and Kim.

Sherri Shepherd has something to smile about….

The talk show host wears the crown for having the  ”cushiest job in America.” Shepherd clocks in only 16 hours a week on The View and her bank account is still sitting pretty. In recent legal documents linked to the ongoing divorce from hubby Jeff Tarpley, Shepherd indicated that she takes home $54,767 a month! So if we did the calculations…that chile’ is making a whopping $855 per hour! CHA-CHINGGGG!

If that isn’t enough, Sherri has also landed a gig as the new host of The Newlywed Game on the Game Show Network. Go girl!!!!

Last season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was pure drama and chile’ you can anticipate even more for Season 3. If you haven’t heard already, entertainment lawyer Phaedra Parks and model, Cynthia Bailey have joined the cast of the lovely Georgia peaches. We’re told Phaedra bumps heads with Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak when she offers them a few tidbits about the entertainment industry. Hmm…and we all know that Nene is one force to be reckoned with. *side eye*

According to RadarOnline.com:

Both women will play major parts in the new series as producers try and spice things-up for the viewers. Cynthia will actually get married on the show while Phaedra will be seen clashing with both NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak. She will be more of a ‘fire-starter’ and viewers can expect to see some pretty big arguments going down. The producers are excited by the two new arrivals and only completed filming the new series within the past couple of weeks – they believe they have some strong and colorful material.

As we previously reported cast member Lisa Wu Hartwell decided to chuck the deuces. After producers wanted to “spice” her character up a little bit because she lacked drama, Lisa decided to bounce. Wifey to retired NFL star Ed Hartwell, we can expect to see Lisa in a few episodes when Season 3 debuts later this year on Bravo, but that will be about it.

A little birdie revealed:

Lisa is definitely out. The producers want somebody more exciting in the future who will ‘spark-off’ the other women. They feel that they have gone as far as they can with her and Season 3 will most definitely be her last on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Dang that’s too bad. Well I can guarantee you that my eyes will be glued to the screen. I’m grabbing the popcorn and my body pillow cause it’s going to be on and poppin’! Owww!
