Chris Brown’s Fan Appreciation Tour kicks off tomorrow night at the House of Blues in Houston, but it looks like those slow ticket sales aren’t getting much better. As of yesterday afternoon, there were plenty of tickets available for the show. A rep for Brown recently told the New York Daily News, “Dates are expected to sell out. And given the economic climate, ticket sales are doing very well.”
C-Breezy appeared on B-E-T’s 1-0-6th and Park yesterday. Asked whether people he thought people believe his apologies for the Rihanna beating are sincere, he said, “I just feel like at the end of the day I’m human… I can only tell you how I personally feel… I can’t make everybody love me, but I can just try…and I can honestly say that I am sorry.”
First there was “The Real Housewives of Atlana”, now Bravo may be launching the “Gay Housewives of Atlanta”. Bravo is rumored to be casting for a new show tentatively titled “Boys Club: ATL.” The premise of the show is to follow a group of openly gay male Atlanta socialites.

A new Jamie Foxx song titled “Speak French” featuring Gucci Mane hit the Internet yesterday. The Bangladesh-produced track is among those Jamie is working on for a follow up to his 2008 disc Intuition. Thoughts??!
Things might be looking up for Ciara, who’s has had a less-than-stellar year with lackluster sales of her album Fantasy Ride and being dropped from the Britney Spears tour. CiCi appears in a high-fashion spread for the German edition of Vogue. She’s also featured in new ads for Version L-G’s Chocolate phone that feature her song “Work.” (video above)
I guess Lil Wayne lost the power struggle with Daddy “Baby” (or is it “Baby” Daddy?). Lil Wayne was quoted by MTV as saying “Rebirth will not be put out as a double disc. It deserves its own roll out and that’s how it will be. They want to roll it out that way but that’s not how it’s gonna happen”. But low and behold, the long-delayed rock album, Rebirth, is scheduled to be released on December 15th, and will be issued as a dual-disc package along with the Young Money collective compilation “We Are Young Money.” Sorry Wayne, Daddy knows best!!
The days of Oprah being the best thing on daytime network television are coming to a close. Deadline.com is reporting that Oprah’s finally ready to move her popular program, “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” to the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) when her contract with ABC expires in 2012.
OWN is a joint venture between Oprah and Discovery Communications. It was supposed to launch in place of the Discovery Health Channel, but has been regularly pushed back. Sources in Oprah’s camp confirmed that Discovery told Oprah her time is up and that if she doesn’t make plans to bring the show to their network, she could risk losing the deal, which already guarantees her network in 70 million homes.
Rihanna is continuing to move on. She’s teamed with Nokia for a live concert at an undisclosed London venue on November 16th to promote her new disc, Rated R. According to Nokia, the show will be streamed worldwide, making it one of the biggest online streaming events in history. The Dream is going Hollywood. But first, he must shed some extra pounds. The once heavyset singer-songwriter revealed on Twitter that he is planning to drop his weight for an undisclosed film role and his next album, Love King. His producing partner Tricky Stewart told Rap-Up.com in September that the project is nearing completion. “It’s pretty much in the can,” he said.
Jill Scott tells Parade magazine that it’s “up in the air” as to whether The Number-One Ladies Detective Agency will be renewed for another season on H-B-O.
Toni Braxton and husband Keri Lewis have separated, according to Essence.com. They’ve been married for eight years and have two sons, Denim and Diezel. Braxton and Trey Songz raised eyebrows at the Soul Train Awards last week when they shared a steamy on-stage kiss.
Despite recently announcing a new album and deal with Atlantic Records, Braxton has had a rough year. Her Century City, California mansion is close to foreclosure, and she’s facing a lawsuit from another financial institution that claims she owes an additional 900-thousand dollars in loan payments.
“The Jacksons — A Family Dynasty” will debut on A-&-E December 13th. The reality series focuses on siblings Jermaine, Tito, Marlon and Jackie as they plan for a 40th anniversary family tour and deal with the death of their brother Michael.
A-&-E exec Robert Sharenow calls the series a “deeply intimate portrait [that] will provide viewers with a raw and honest look inside a musical dynasty… For the first time ever, the remaining members of The Jackson Five allow cameras inside their very private world, giving the public a glimpse into how they balance their extremely busy personal and professional lives with the demands of celebrity.”

Joe Jackson is petitioning the estate of Michael Jackson for a monthly stipend.
Michael’s dad says he has no steady source of income besides 17-hundred dollars a month from Social Security and that he was dependant on his son for financial support. Michael’s will did not provide for his father.
On Her Family History Of Violence:
“I said to myself, ‘I’m never gonna date someone like my dad,’ ” Rihanna told Sawyer. “Never.” The singer said her father was severely abusive to her mother in the past and hit her “numerous” times. She said she would unsuccessfully try to break up their fights, attempting to distract the pair by breaking glasses and dishes in the kitchen. The singer said her father even broke her mother’s nose.
On Loving Chris:
Rihanna painted the picture of her and Brown’s early days together as filled with happiness. She said the “Forever” singer was her best friend but cautioned that falling in love with your best friend can be “scary.”
“The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other, equally as dangerous,” she said, describing their relationship as an obsession. She said on the night Brown assaulted her, she was happy and alcohol did not play a part in influencing his or her behavior.
On What Caused The Fight:
Rihanna confirmed that a text message from a girl Brown had a previous relationship with was at the root of their argument that night. She said Brown lied about the message and that she would not let him off the hook. “He had his back against the wall,” she said.
The pair left a pre-Grammy party and soon found themselves arguing in a residential district in Brown’s rented Lamborghini.
On The Blow For Blow:
“It escalated into him being violent toward me, and it was ugly,” she said, clearing her throat. She said Brown punched her and bit her repeatedly. She said she was also choked, but not to the point of near unconsciousness, although she said she did have trouble breathing. “All I kept thinking was, ‘When is it going to stop?’ ” she told Sawyer of the escalating violence. She admitted Brown threatened to kill her, as well, but she told Sawyer he “was saying it to scare me.”
“At that point, I just didn’t know what could happen,” she continued. “He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him. It was almost as if he had nothing to lose. He had so much to lose. But it was almost as if he had nothing to lose. It wasn’t the same person that says I loved you. It definitely wasn’t those eyes.”
“It was ugly,” she said. “I fended him off with my feet…but it was not like, it was not like a fight with each other. I just…I really just wanted it to stop,” she said.
