Sources are claiming Keyshia has completely cut off communication with her sister Neffe and mother Frankie.
“She sent no gifts, no Merry Christmas card and not even a text message their way for the holidays. The shadiest part of the whole story is that they say Keyshia sent gifts to her other celebrity friends and their kids.”
If there is any truth to this, then I guess Keyshia must be at her wits end with her family exploiting her name in exchange for their own fame. I heard through the grapevine this was the reason Keyshia refused to continue the reality show on BET and basically forbade them to do it as well. Frankie and Neffie chose to ignore Keyshia’s wishes and…….well let’s just say they’re getting the dial tone!

When have a family dat big, & family members get in a bind. Its hard not 2 help them when u got your own, but family take advantage of da situation. That’s good that keisha woke up.But I feel she should let everybody go included the Coles family,she made her way to the top by herself. They was not there for all the shit she had to go throught to get there. I disagree Candice and tee, Keyshia had to find her mother. Therefore family will not always be there. Keyshia has realized that her family will not change and will always be extremely selfish. Keyshia will never forget where she came from. She always gives back to the kids, because much was not giving to her as a child. Just because she refuses to continue to be a bottomless ATM to Frankie nem’ does not mean she has forgotten where she came from. That’s whats wrong with folks now SOME PEOPLE YOU SHOULD FORGET SO THEY WILL NOT SINK YOUR SHIP. Just cuz you come from poverty don’t mean you need bring the whole projects with you becuz some can not adapt to new environments and know how to appreciate the new.

You have a heart of Gold and It’s okay to share but when people, and that includes family start to take advantage of a good thing then it’s time to let them go. What would have they done if it weren’t for you, and frankie… you don’t do drugs and why should you support her habit. She’s a hot ass mess and her day is going to come for doing her daughter(you) the way she did, even after you tried to help her. Know that God is not pleased and her day is coming. Keisha I am glad you finally realized they was just out for $$$ sign and to get what they can for free.. But one thing i can say is you never forgot where you cam from and as long as you share your blessing giving back to your community god will continue to bless you in every which way possible… The Coles are great people as long as you have people in your life that has the lord in there life you can never go wrong!!!!!! Keisha brought this on herself. She gave them the spotlight now look, a mess. If your going to cut them all off, then the Coles should go also. Evyonne is a mess. Her daughter was on the show, never did she ackowledge her. Eyvonne is judgemental, she only wants things for herself (teeth should have been first for mon and dad). That family preaches too much, even Keisha. Look pregnant w/o a husband. Are you better than Neffie? Money will not buy happiness.
Everyone one of them should get off the tube. The music industry is a fickle business, Keisha cut everyone off even Manny. Stay out of the line of fire, create good music, and enjoy your new bindle of joy.
I like Keisha Coles but she knew that her family had drama, drug problems and other issues that most families deal with when she signed up to do the reality show.
I can understand Keisha not wanting to deal with Frankie and her constant drug issues (she’s definitely back on crack) but I think she always treated Yvonne Coles much better anyway. Her relationship was justifiably strained with her mother and it showed. Keisha used and exploited her family to boost her career and for that pay check. Why shouldn’t they make money too? Besides, they really made the show! As much as I like Keisha, the show wouldn’t have sold without Frankie and Neffe!
As for mama Coles, she’s suspect also! There seems to be something really fake about her. Not to mention she never once acknowledged her drug addicted biological daughter but never missed a beat with claiming Keisha.
Keisha needs to take care of her and her child and let ALL of those grown people support themselves….including Mrs. Coles who seems to spend more time with Keisha than she does with her husband!

I agree that Keyshia exploited her family for her own gain but I hold BET just as responsible for even airing this bullshit..Debra Lee should get her ass beat for considering this shit “Black Entertainment Television”..How the hell can you have a network that’s suppose to be about uplifting the black race exploit a disfunctional family that does nothing more then confirm every stereotype (Black Family) known to man for ratings????? Instead of doing a reality show what Keyshia should’ve done from Day 1 was take some of her money and put Frankie in Rehab and take Neffie to the closet construction site and have them fill her vagina with cement so she would NEVER be able to produce another kid!!!
