Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are gearing up for a baby shower weekend……
The two love birds are set to have a “Pink and Blue” baby shower this Sunday night from 7pm-9pm at a luxe Beverly Hills hotel. With a “Pink and Blue” theme, there’s no doubt in my mind that their “double bundle” will indeed be both a girl and a boy. *smiles*
Mimi’s publicist, Cindi Berger, her manager Louise McNally, along with Setfano Zagni are taking the reigns and hosting the uber fab party.
Here are a few items listed on their registry:
- $350 custom-made car seat cover
- $1,200 giraffe
- $2,000 custom-made bedding set for a crib
The list may seem short, but what else do you get a woman who seems to “have it all?”
Mariah and Nick have converted an ENTIRE wing of their Beverly Hills pad into a luxury nursery. I’m talking Chelsea sleigh cribs costing $2,200 each, a $2,800 Clara changing table, a set of $2,270 Glam Glider chairs AND a $1 million sofa…hot dayum!
Mariah wanted 18-carat gold trim with ivory walls, soft furnishings and walk-in wardrobes full of Petit Tresor designer clothes. There’s a top-of-the-range sound system and they’ll each have diamond-encrusted iPods and a flatscreen TV that comes down from the ceiling.”

Mariah has enough money to buy whatever she wants for her baby. I’m not so sure sbout Nick splurging like this, he does not have her millions. Whether the nursery cost $500 or $50, 000, the main thing is to be attentive, patient, loving parents.
