Martin Lawrence Officially Files For Divorce

Although it was announced last week in a joint statement through their rep, Martin Lawrence has put the wheels in motion to make his divorce final. The actor-comedian filed papers last Wednesday, one day after making the annoucement of his split from wife Shamicka Lawrence. The documents cited irreconciable differences as the reason for the break-up and indicated there is a prenup in place. The two stated the divorce is amicable and they are committed to remaining friends and raising their daughters together.
