I am a lil surprised at the number of people that seem to disapprove of the relationship with my boyfriend. I find this reality to be kind of hard to accept. There are times when I notice people giving us long hard stares and those stares are usually from my own people!
Honestly, I wish everyone could benefit from the beauty that can come from experiences that happen outside of your own comfort zone. It is truly a beautiful thing that can add so much to your life.Give it a shot and you can learn so much from a person you never thought you’d talk to or have something in common with. Angela is wise and mature beyond her years. It’s hard enough these days to find someone compatible. Who cares if they are red, white, purple or yellow so long as they treat you with respect!!

Every time I see Angela I can’t get the episode of Runs House out of my head where she tells Justine that she looks exactly like her dad except with a wig (almost in tears) now every time I see her I see Run LOL.

And no one cares who she dates, black, white, yellow, purple. I mean some people may stare out of ignorance and question the relationship but others, like myself, may be staring at the two of you, but their minds are in a totally different place having nothing to do with you, so I say, Angela get over yourself, no one cares who you date. Just ensure he’s for Angela and not the Simmons if you know what I mean. He’s not even cute, but of course love isn’t about looks, color, etc.

Reane – come again? I’m white and have dated black females, and you get looks. They’re not friendly looks, you might not have a problem with it, but many people do. I got punched in the face by a brother because he didn’t approve of me being with a black woman. Racism on the DL is alive and well in America, and even if it’s not close to a majority of people, there are enough who despise situations like this that make it a real issue. Take it from somebody who’s been in multiple interracial relationships.
I think he is cute for her. I am a blk woman who loves to date spanish men. I say go head girl! Do you and ppl. are just mad b/c they don’t have someone that cute from another race. Its real sad blk ppl. GET OVER IT!
I hate the fact that people have to make issues when others date out of their race. Who gives a rats behind what color he/she is…just be happy and if the smiles turn to tears …check the relationship- until then……handle yours sweety!
This Latino guy that you see with Angela is from the group called Play-N-Skillz. He and his brother are from Dallas, TX and they are Grammy Award winners for Best Rap performance by a duo for their production on the single “Ridin” by Chamillionaire and Best Rap Album for Lil Wayne’s “The Carter III” for their production on the single “Got Money.” They are also signed with Universal Records.
