Over the past few weeks, Chris Brown and Rihanna’s relationship has been questioned. Are they just friends or are they more than friends?? Well, we now have some sort of an answer. Yesterday, Brown spoke out saying he had officially broken up with model Karrueche Tran, due to his friendship with ex-Rihanna.

I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”

Most recently, Brown and Rihanna have been seen out together in public at a club and then at a concert of Jay-Z’s at Barclays Center. Brown, 23, posted a video about the situation which is titled, “The Real Chris Brown.” He speaks to the camera saying,

You know, when you share a history with somebody, then you tend to fall in love with someone else, it’s difficult. Is there such a thing as loving two people? I don’t know.”

The video features footage of him and RiRi, 24, together. The only thing she has said publicly is this tweet:

Ain’t nobody bidness . . . But mine and my baby!”

Meanwhile, Tran tweeted out

All I’m saying is . . . You don’t mess with people’s genuine feelings. You just don’t!”

She later posted,

Life moves on. So let’s all.”

Brown is currently still on probation for his felony assault of Rihanna back in 2009. What do you guys think Brown and Rihanna’s relationship right now? Do you think it was inevitable? Do you think it’s smart? Maybe we, the public, should just leave them be and let them navigate this road together. Hopefully they won’t fall back into old habits.
