Husband of Actress Brittany Murphy Found Dead

Simon Monjack, the husband of deceased actress Brittany Murphy, was found dead last night at his Hollywood Hills home in Los Angeles. No word on the official cause of death as of yet, but Monjack was reportedly found unconscious by Brittany’s mother Sharon Murphy in the same home where the young actress died 5 months ago. Monjack’s body was discovered around 9:30PM last night, and he was pronounced dead by the paramedics after resuscitation efforts failed.
Authorities believe that cardiac arrest is the reason behind the untimely death. Similar to Brittany’s death, there were bottles of prescription drugs found in the home. A thorough investigation to determine the cause of death will reportedly be conducted by the coroner.
