Monique Denies Oprah/Tyler Perry Fued

Mo’ Nique, co-star of “Precious”, has dismissed reports that she is feuding with co-producers Oprah and Tyler Perry, along with director Lee Daniels. It was reported that Mo’Nique demanded thousands of dollars to walk the red carpet at various promo events for the movie, including the Toronto and New York Film Festivals.
Now sources suggest that it wasn’t Mo’Nique, but her husband/ manager, Sidney Hicks who demanded the money, pissing off Oprah. A source says that Hicks is impossible to work with and is screwing up Mo’Nique’s chance for an Academy Award, that she deserves. Mo’Nique tells sources, “There is no feud. Only mutual respect and admiration.”

it would be nice to see monique get an oscar for this role. the clip i saw on larry king was amazing. she really pulled out all the stops for this character.
It wasn’t thousands it was $100,000, and it was Mo’Nique, just like she’s bitching about her BET show. She needs to understand she’s not a star and as good as she might be in Precious, she’s not going to get any more roles if she keeps acting a fool. Even if it was her husband asking for the $$$, she was making the stink over her BET show. Her attitude sucks.

Peep this shyt out.When I lived in Brooklyn I drove limos and I had to pick Mo’Nique and her crew up from Kennedy Airport.She was making an appearence at the Apollo for a radio show.First of all for a weekend show she had at least 30 pieces of luggage I’m not lying I had to go pick up a fifteen passenger van,take the first three rows of seats out just for her luggage.And when she came down the escalator people was asking for an autograph,that FAT B*TCH HAD THE NERVE TO GET AN ATTITUDE WITH THOSE PEOPLE AND DIDN’T SIGN AUTOGRAPHS.And then she raised HELL AT THE BAGGAGE CLAIM COUNTER.PEACE
