A few days I featured photos from the very talented Chrisette Michele’s “Epiphany Showcase”. Here’s a treat for those of you who still appreciate good singing. Although LA Reid’s introduction made my head hurt!! WTF was he thinking by saying “I’ve discovered many many stars but none of them could sing?” So you mean to tell me Toni Braxton, Usher, Avril Lavigne and Pink can’t sing??? Thats a nice thing to say about the artists that helped make you rich.

hummm LA is crazy for saying that, didn’t he discover Blu Cantrel? To me she’s one of the best singers in a long time. I don’t dislike Chrisette but really she’s not as good as he said. I understand hyping up an artist you’re behind, but not at the expense of other artists. Pink will fuck him up when she sees him lol.
Egypt you seem to know almost everything about celebrities, what the hell is Blu up to? I know she didn’t sell a whole lot of records but I dug her. She has vanished. Maybe you know something? lol. Another one is Monifah, Wikipedia said she has a new album coming out, I somehow doubt this and can’t find sh*t to verify this.
Everyone in the music industry knows LA Reid is an arrogant prick. For years he’s taken credit for discovering people that were REALLY discovered by his former partner Babyface and his late protege Shakir Stewart. Now he’s claiming those very same people can’t REALLY sing????? How disrepectful is that! I’m convinced…he IS truly the low down, downlow pompass jerk I’ve always heard he was.
or maybe he truely believes Chrisette is the real deal? I suppose everyone has to have a single artist who is their absolute favorite.
Bighead – Nobody is saying that Chrisette isn’t a talented artist. The point is as the chairman or CEO or whatever he is of a major company it looks real dumb for him to diss all the other artists he’s worked with just to pay her a compliment.
