Another Earthquake Rocks Japan

Japan was hit by another earthquake 50 miles east of the Oshika peninsula in Miyagi, that measured 6.5 on the Richter Scale.
The latest tremor brought new fears for a population still in shock from the 9.0 earthquake that struck on March 11th. A tsunami warning was issued but later lifted. Luckily, there have been no reports of immediate damage or injuries.
The 9.0 quake and devastating tsunami has left more than 27,000 people dead or missing and completely wiped out entire towns. If that’s not bad enough, Japan is dealing with another threat….radiation. High levels of radiation have been detected in water from a Japanese reactor raising fears of a nuclear disaster.
