Jay-Z Wins Judgement In Lawsuit

It’s been 5 long years, but judgement has finally been awarded to Jay –Z in his lawsuit against celebrity chef Terry Miller. Miller named his restaurant “Rocafella” which caused Jay to file a suit claiming it may mislead others into believing it was affiliated with his Roc-a-fella record label. Although Miller was initially granted rights to use the name, Jigga Man hired a high powered legal team and appealed the case.

The judgement blocks Miller from using the Rocafella name outside of his catering business as the restaurant in question closed in 2009.  The former “Hell’s Kitchen” winner says he’s considering appealing once again.

It’s been 3 years since the restaurant closed it’s doors to the public. If you ask me, I think homeboy should just take the “L” and move on. SMH
