Police are finally revealing some informaton regarding their interrogation of Dr. Conrad Murray.

TMZ says Murray’s lawyer, Edward Chernoff, says about Murray “He just happened to find him in his bed, and he wasn’t breathing. Mr. Jackson was still warm and had a pulse.”

Chernoff says Murray immediately began administering CPR. He is now being criticized for the way that he administered the CPR to Michael. Medical professionals say CPR should always be administered on the floor, not in the bed as Murray did. Perhaps this is the reason Michael suffered broken ribs and bruises when he arrived at the hospital.

Chernoff says Murray did not prescribe or give Michael Demerol or OxyContin, drugs that he was said to be addicted to. Chernoff says any drugs Murray did prescribe were given in response to a specific complaint from Jackson. The hospital did, however find signs of Lidocaine in MJ’s system which is a drug used to treat disturbances in the heart rhythm.

Also over the weekend, Joe Jackson and Janet Jackson made appearances at the BET AWARDS….

When asked about the loss of his son on the red carpet, Joe replied “I have a lot of concerns … I don’t like what happened.” Janet Jackson addressed the audience almost in tears and simply thanked everyone for their love and support. Janet said of the family, “We miss him sooo much.”

The Jackson family has requested a second autopsy be done on Michael’s body.
