Beanie Sigel Officially Joins G-Unit
Beanie Sigel has officially joined 50 Cent’s G-Unit label, 50 announced on a Philadelphia radio station this week. The news comes after days of fall-out over “Average Cat,” Beanie’s controversial single on which he comes at former Roc-a-Fella boss Jay-Z.
Beans joined 50 toward the end of the interview to address Jay’s comments that his downfall was his own fault, saying, “People think that I’m just speaking out because I’m in the position that I am and I ain’t put no music out. Let’s go to Jay-Z’s rebuttal about the complaints of Beanie Sigel — the two Bentleys that I obtained, Jay-Z had nothing to do with that. That was a car from [Roc-a-Fella executives] Damon Dash and from Kareem Burke.”
Beanie also promised more diss tracks, adding, “I’m putting my foot on his neck ’til he responds.”
Do you think “Average Cat” is a publicity stunt for Beanie’s new deal with G-Unit? Or is ‘Fif trying to capitalize on the controversy by signing Beans?

Nah..not a publicity at all..far from it..Beans was suppose to sign with 50 damn near 2 yrs ago..Plus certain niggas out of that state property camp (Beans, Peedi, Sparks, Oschino) have been going at it with Jay ever since the Jay/Dame split..As a fan of Hip Hop I hope and pray Jay responds to beans..This could very well be the 2nd greatest battle of my generation behind Jay/Nas..
This def screams publicity!! 50 Cent always starts something right before his album is suppose to drop. Beans is just another pawn in 50′s game. Beans cant blame Jay on his failure, and i dont think joining G-Unit is going to help because look at what happened with the game and young buck. (Not to mention what has Banks & Yayo done lately?)
Beans said it himself, hes gonna keep dissin Jay until he responds. I personally think its a wrong move b/c he doesnt have the following that Jay has. Nor will this play out to be as great as the Jay/Nas beef! They are just using Jay’s name so ppl can pay attention.
I’ve been a big fan of 50 but he’s getting obnioxous, how bout he channel some of his shit talking into making an album that has more than 2-3 good songs on it?!
I agree with Queensgirl. 50 is playing Beans and his career is not going to get anywhere. Look at Mase and his career with G-Unit. I rest my case.
Furthermore, Jay is not going to respond, so he might as well give it up now. Jay is on a whole other level and he will lose every time.
C’mon people! You can’t hate on 50. Whether he’s using Beans or not it doesn’t matter. The idea to sign him and use this beef to make $$$ is a good idea. This has been a part of his MO since day one and people are still eating it up. The difference is this isn’t designed to sell his records but make $$$ for G-Unit. He’s a hustler 1st and foremost and that’s what he’s doing – hustling. Now Beans is a different story. Jay is not totally responsible for his failure but he plays a part in it. Just like people mention Game/Mase/Young Buck as 50/G-Unit failures can we say Memphis Bleek/Amil/Beans? Jay didn’t do much to help them succeed. When they put out albums he turned around and put one out hurting their sales. Now as far as a response, Beans should hope Jay stays quiet. Thats a BIG “L” waiting to happen. Cut our losses Beanie

At any rate, “BEANS” is going up against the might of the Illuminati in Jay-Z and at the sametime being played like a pawn by Five O! I guess this chump doesn’t read the news much. It doesn’t take a genius to see the fate of Olivia, Mace, Game, Buck, Spider Loc the other two losser in G-Unit and everyone else that you don’t hear of coming from that camp. For everyone that says look what 50 did to Mase..Mase was NEVER signed to G-Unit..Mase was signed to Bad Boy up until about 3 weeks ago..So you might want to look at Diddy for his “L”..As far as 50 and G Unit..50 is the only nigga since Master P that has made just about every nigga in his camp Millionaires..Banks first CD hunger for more sold 4 million copies, Buck went Multi-platinum, Yayo isn’t even a legit rapper and he damn near went plantinum..Game “The Documentary” went 4X platinum and his second CD went 2X platinum..this isn’t including the GAZILLION Mixtapes each one of the have put out that they are eating off of..Now I don’t really agree with 50′s tactics at times but to say that this dude hasn’t made any of his artist rich and successful is crazy to me..People may not like him, you may say he’s wack but at the end of the day that dude has put plenty of money in his artist pockets and he has a business mind that can only be compared to Jay..

Everything you say is true my brotha Youngswag, but I’m not talking about the money made by 50′s artist, I’m more or less talking about the shit he puts on their heads after he’s done with them. It’s kind of like in those old movies where dumb ass niggas would sale their souls to the devil for fame, riches & bitches. And then after all that had been attained and the devil had no more use for those niggas he would shit on them. Well, Five 0 is in the likeness of Satan in that respect. I just call a spade a spade…
@youngswag, i agree with what your sayin as well. Jay, 50 and Diddy are all business men and thats why they make the money they make. We’d have to be stupid to believe that they each havent put themselves and their careers before others. Shiitt i think we would too if we had the chance.
Beans cant blame his failure purely on Jay, last i checked Beans didnt have crossover appeal. To make money & sell platinum records , especially now, thats what you need. Sure Banks, Game, Buck, Yayo had some success but where are they now? Mixtapes dont generate as much money as platinum records. Jay has helped launch Kayne and Rihanna, no one on the G-Unit roster has the same STAR power.
Personally im sick of 50′s game, and i think a lot of ppl are. Its the same ol’ story, fiddy has beef drops a name and then drops an album. Why is it taking so long for Before I self destruct to drop? Why didnt he go up against Jay like he said he was?

Man..my previous comment got edited..I had a section in there agreeing with the both of you about some of what you wrote..not sure what the hell happened but just for the record..I agreed with with some of what you guys said..
