Halle Berry Drops Broadway Play For Custody Of Nahla

Halle Berry canceled her plans to star in the Broadway play, The Mountaintop this fall in order to dedicate her time to her ongoing custody battle with her ex-beau Gabriel Aubry for her daughter Nahla.

The Mountaintop will still open on Broadway this fall with Samuel L. Jackson starring as Martin Luther King, Jr.

Wow…this is another major step for Halle. First she pulled out on the film, “New Year’s Eve” and now The Moutaintop…eeek! However, Ms. Berry made it clear how important Nahla is to her.

According to a source:

No job is that important to Halle. Nahla comes first.”

Sho’ nuff!

No word yet on who will replace Halle.

We’ll keep you updated….

  1. I love Halle as much as the next person, but being a diabetic with high blood pressure and the depression that goes along with it, I KNOW THAT Halle DOESNT NEED full custody of that child. The child will suffer and she will suffer as she ages and the child ages. The stress of this trial is going to cause her blood sugar/pressure to rise. She needs to compromise for the good of everyone – especially her child. Since she has had diabetes from childhood I know that her pancreas is TOTALLY dead and she is likely totally insulin dependent – it is not an easy life without a child.
