He started calling out sites like Bossip & Mediatakeout for ‘instigating the lie’. Joe even challenged Trey Songz to speak out and squash the rumor….. So what do ya have say Trey??

Two days ago I sat down at Roscoe’s chicken and waffles in LA with recording artist and Pharell Williams protege, Teyana Taylor. No publicist, no manager and no holds barred!!! Although she’s only officially released one single “Google Me,” Teyana Taylor has become one of the most talked about new artists. She’s made fast friends with a slew of industry power players and has managed to build relationships with a handful of A-list music artists. This is why certain people have questioned ‘Who is Teyana Taylor and what does she do?’ She didn’t come across as a “Ms. Goodie Too Shoes” but rather as an ambitious young woman with big dreams, who is comfortable in her skin and is being true to herself. Soon after spending time with Teyana Taylor I realized just how creative, energetic, and business minded she is.

Teyana greeted me by asking where she could get a Shenaynay wig because she and her assistant Davon are planning to dress up as Shenaynay and Keylolo from “Martin” for Halloween. Over the course of the next hour Teyana opened up to me about her sexual preference and virginity, rumors about her relationship with Chris Brown, her secret crush and more. For all of you who’ve asked the question “What exactly does she do?” I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find out she does a whole helluva lot…..especially to be only 18 years old. Enjoy!…..

Are you an only child?
Yes…I mean no. I’m an only child on my mom’s side, she was a single parent. I have 2 brothers and a lil sister on my father’s side. (Like many of us, Teyana’s father wasn’t around much in her life.) My older brother Rich is 19, I’m 18, my younger brother Tito is 17 about to be 18, and my little sister diamond is 11 or 12. You see me and my brothers are tight in age…..you see what I’m getting at? My dad was pretty much out there with the women. I’m cool with all of my dad’s baby mothers though… and my dad just had another baby by another shorty. Sometimes I think, man how you gonna keep having babies when u can’t take care of the ones you got?? Lolol… and he’s only like 35 or 36 years old.

Well I’m addicted to Jimmy Neutron cartoons and donuts. I’m really a fat kid at heart. I eat everything!!!!! But at least I workout and dance alot too. People always ask how I stay so skinny . Its because I do leglifts on the treadmill. That’s how you get a six pack.

You’re a twitter maniac lady, over the past 3 months we’ve seen pictures posted on twitter by either you, Chris Brown, or Soulja Boy. These pics of course prompted rumors that maybe you were dating both of them, first Chris and then Soulja. Was there any truth to the rumors?
Yeh I know. I mean No…no. Chris is my brother. I’ve always said that. People say a lot of things about me and I’m like I’m only 18. Really??? Is it that serious? People have said I was gay and all type of stuff.

Yes. The one thing people can never say is that I’m a hoe. I have a purity ring. The only time you get in trouble is if you attempt to do something. If your laying up on a boy then something is going to happen. So I just keep my legs closed until I am ready for that. I can’t have a boyfriend because the only thing they want to do is have sex. I don’t want no fingers up there, no penis, nothing!!! Uh uh (shaking her head no).
You know many young girls think that virginity is lame and promiscuity is cool. They succumb to peer pressure and then find themselves in grown folks situations that they aren’t equipped to handle. So I’m pleasantly surprised to hear that you have your head on straight.
Egypt I even try to teach these girls. I hold bible study class at St. Lukes church in Harlem when I’m home. I actually teach the class because I want them to know its okay to praise God and keep your legs closed. I’m just trying to be a good example right now. It’s funny because when I had my 18th birthday I wore this Herve Lager dress and peeps were like Whoaaaaa Teyana. I guess that’s because I always try to dress my age, I just started wearing dresses so they were shocked. But that night I had to make people know that if I want to get on my girlie stuff then I will do that. These female artists need to know that if and when I’m ready to bust out and throw it on….Be afraid…..be very afraid!! (laughs) But I want to be a good example. I’m a lady and I think people respect that.
You mentioned negative blogs earlier. Do you think you’ve been getting a fair shake on the net?
Not really, like a while back I took up for Chris Brown and got called a dumb bitch by Perez Hilton. I mean that was crazy. He got mad because I wouldn’t respond back to him. He just wanted the publicity and he is not gonna get it on my back. I took up for Chris because he was my friend and my brother even before the Rihanna stuff. I’m not gonna leave him because he made a mistake.
What do you think about Chris’ decision to go on the radio recently and talk about that night with Rihanna. Was it a wise decision?
I feel like every decision he made was right. He had to go on and talk about the situation because no one heard his side. I don’t condone what he did. It’s never right to hit a woman. But I’m gonna be by his side anyway.
Recently, a certain radio personality put you on blast by asking “What exactly does Teyana Taylor do?”, as if to question your relevance. A few other websites have mistakenly called you a rapper. Do you want to respond?
Yeh I know who your talking about and when it happened I was like Wow!! That’s just so fake because he was just smiling in my face before that….but nevermind that. Here’s the deal. I have a Lipgloss line coming out called “Dope lips.” We are still developing it but I’m excited because we have ‘Salute The Nude’ under the lipgloss line for all the girls who like nude colors. I’m a Songwriter too, I’m about to write for Blackstreet and Usher. I wrote a Timbaland track for Usher, Teddy Riley heard it and said “That’s crazy!! If Usher don’t want it then bring it here.” So now I’m about to write for their album. I’m writing stuff with Chris Brown, Omarion, oh and I’m about to start getting in with Brandy too. So I am really heavy into songwriting.
I have my own publishing company called “I Am McLovin Publishing”. I am also hosting the Jamaican Awards (YVA) in Kingston in February because the kids in Jamaica love me. I didn’t even realize I had so many Jamaican Fans. I’m in the newest Source magazine with Yung Money on the cover and I’m about to do the covers of Persona and Bleu Magazines. I’m a model too! I modeled for Zac Posen and Deisel during “Fashion Week” in Miami. And I did a campaign for “Married to the Mob.”

(laughs) 5 foot 7. I’m 5 foot 7 Egypt. But I feel taller and I have a tall personality. (very true) Also, me, Chris brown and his brother just started a rock band called “Ugly”. People have said “Teyana you can’t do that” but I say “yes you can.” Shoooot, Gwen Stefani did it! She did her Gwen Stefani solo stuff and her band with “No Doubt” and they both worked. It’s just another creative extension of me.
Dang Gina!! You really do have alot on your plate. You mentioned starting a rock band, which genre of music is the real expression of you?? R&B or Rock?
Poprock music is a real expression of me and who I am. I like the Jets, Sade, The Debarges. I mean I am a very old soul. I don’t know who’s in there (points to her head) but I am olllllllllllld. I still love Drake and everybody but Teenie marie is my shiiiiiiiittt….Teena marie honeyyyyyyy (busts out singing “Portuguese Love” and everybody at the table joins in singing “say u love me, say you love me ba-bay, Por-tu-gues-e ” we all bust out laughing.) And I love Billie holiday and all the old jazz. …….Oh btw Egypt, just adding to what you asked before. I am an artist developer as well. I’m also designing for Kanye’s women’s line, and I’m about to be in a major movie but I can’t talk about it yet.

I had a crush on Chris Paul (NBA) but I hit up La La (Alani Vasquez) and she gave me all the basketball scoop. She said he has a girl and lives with her in New Orleans. My crush was over in 2.5 seconds flat because I don’t want noooooo drama. He’s a nice guy and he’s just my friend now. Shia lebouf is my baby daddy though!

I am ride or die for Shia. I’ve loved him from “Even Steven”, “Men in Black”, “Holes”, all that! Others didn’t like him until “Disturbia” when he got big. I loved him wayyyyyy back when he was young. I even have pictures of him in my phone.( She pulls her phone out and sure enough, she has a catalogue of Shia photos) But it must not be meant for me to meet him. I missed him twice. Once at the Indiana Jones premiere in my home town of Harlem. I got there 2 mins late. Then the second time was at BET when somebody burst through the door and it was Shia. *Exclusive* Part 1: Michael Lohan Begs Lindsay Lohan to Stop Abusing Drugs

Two weeks ago I conducted an investigative report on the shocking trend of Prescription Drug Abuse amongst teenagers. During my investigation I found that 1 out of every 4 teens is/has abused prescription drugs according to research. That means that 25% of teenagers are taking part in this dangerous and sometimes lethal habit.
Teenaers are obtaining drugs like Xanax & Vicodin from other classmates but mainly online from websites based overseas in the UK and Canada. The drugs are then delivered to the kids doorsteps! What teens don’t realize is that many of these online drug dealers are servicing them with counterfeit drugs that are laced with rat poison or baby powder.
One parent that knows what its like to have a teenager battling prescription drug addiction is Michael Lohan, actress Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father. He joined me on this segment as part of “The Maury Povich Show” to discuss the dangers of the trend. His appearance resulted in a plea to his daughter to end her addiction before its too late.
Michael said Lindsay is a “hollow person” and said there’s “nothing left in her” and that he “couldn’t even look at her” during a recent visit. At one point, he actually said, “I hate to speak out publicly like this…” Then he launched into an emotional plea to his daughter, saying he would do everything and anything to save her life.
Michael Lohan has been accused of whoring out stories about Lindsay for publicity. Jokes are constantly made about his publicity tactics and lack of relationship with his daughter. Most recently, Nene Leakes verbally castrated him on “The Insider” for “betraying his daughter to the press”.
I can’t endorse nor denounce any of these criticisms made about him. But what I can tell you is that I witnessed a desperate, concerned, helpless father make a tearful and what seemed like a heartfelt plea to save his daughter’s life. Michael Lohan told me that he realizes his daughter and ex wife resent him, but that he refuses to sit idly by and watch as the public, fake friends, and other family members enable her. Michael made a statement to me that resonated deeply. He said ” I don’t want my daughter to become the next Anna Nicole Smith….when she is dead and cold and it’ll be too late. I don’t wanna think ’I could have done something about it’ but didn’t.”
So perhaps this IS the case of a wreckless father seeking to profit off of his daughters fame, as many media outlets have declared. BUT, maybe, just maybe, this really is a concerned father using all the resources he has to reach out to his estranged daughter and try to talk some sense into her before it’s too late. YOU BE THE JUDGE!

Jamie Hector (Marlo from HBO’s Wire) wants the public to know that he had no involvement whatsoever in this weekend’s shoot out which took place right outside of his wife’s baby shower in Brooklyn.
According to the Daily News:
A made-for-tv gun battle erupted outside a Brooklyn baby shower for the wife of a star of the HBO crime series “The Wire” Sunday, killing one teen and wounding two men, cops said.
Gunmen unloaded nearly 50 bullets outside the party for the wife of actor Jamie Hector – who played violent druglord Marlo Stanfield on the hit series – then tried to finish off one of the wounded men outside a hospital.
“What a gun battle,” a police source told the Daily News. “They have been watching too much TV.”

When I put in a quick call to check on Jamie I was told that he is okay but he and his wife are very rattled by the shooting.
Jamie’s manager Ally Roberson released this statement from Jamie Hector about the incident…
“I first want to make it clear that the shooting incident yesterday did not take place at my home, nor did it involve me, my wife, nor any of the invited guests. Although none of the guests were hurt physically, the trauma of this experience is unforgettable. My condolences go out to the families of the victims.
I grew up in Brooklyn and this kind of violence is one of the reasons I founded Moving Mountains, Inc., a non-profit youth organization that redirects talented youth through the arts. I focus their energy on positive alternatives in an effort to deter them from this type of violence, which takes place on the streets everyday. We work to provide them with the life skills that allow them to make good choices for themselves and prepare them to lead positive, violence free lives.”
Jamie also adds, ”to be honest it was a disturbing feeling, but it also showed that we have a lot of work to do, we have to change how people think in order to change what they do”

Rumors are swirling all over Turks and Caicos that Rocsi, the host of B-E-T’s 1-0-6 and Park, may be taking Lisa Raye’s place. According to several internet sources, Rocsi and Michael Misick, the millionaire former premier of Turks and Caicos and Lisa Raye’s ex-husband, are allegedly engaged. Sources even claim to have seen Rocsi with a huge diamond on her left hand.
Well, of course I reached out to Rocsi to congratulate her and find out if the rumor was true and she told me it was absolutely untrue and I believe her wholeheartedly. When a woman gets engaged (especially to a millionaire), thats not the kind of thing she’ll want to keep secret if you catch my drift.
If you look at the photos below, you’ll notice the date stamped of when it was taken was December 25, 2008. Last time I checked people don’t spend important holidays like Christmas together unless they’re pretty serious. Looks like the rumors of them being just a fling were incorrect. But sorry to bust anyone’s bubble, Rocsi is not taking that long walk down the aisle with Michael Misick…. at least not now anyway.

THE SHOCKING PART I DIDN’T TELL YOU WHEN I FIRST BROKE THE CHRISTINA MILIAN AND THE DREAM ENGAGEMENT STORY ……
On March 13th, back when I first the broke the story that Dream and Christina Milian had gotten engaged on the roof of his LA condo, Christina Milian immediately denied it:
“Just woke up from finishing some work in the studio late last night to some eager phone calls as to whether or not I am Engaged…. No, I am not. Point blank, period. Pretty funny. I really don’t have a lot to say about it… I think since I announced the title of my new album “Elope” these rumors seem to be looming around lately… Since then, the two have been inseparable, and Christina hasn’t taken that rock off for one second….”
The part that I didn’t tell you when I first blew the lid wide open on this story is that when The Dream found out that word was out about his engagement to Christina Milian, he went CRAZY on his entire staff, because he wanted to know who leaked the story.
Word has it he was utterly pissed that my iron-clad sources gave me blow-by-blow details of how everything went down. So pissed that he talked about firing cats on his team and even demanded that everyone on his staff sign confidentiality agreements!
Hmmm, I wonder if he’s going to demand that Christina Milian’s sisters sign those agreements as well. In case you didn’t know, one of her sisters is her hair stylist. And we all know how hair stylists get all the juicy gossip first….sister or not! Things that make you go hmmmm…..

Earlier this week I stopped by the Vibe office to get the scoop on their latest venture, The Most Magazine amongst other things. Danyel dropped hints about who’ll be gracing their July cover. She said it will be two people. I’m thinking it must be a famous couple, maybe Jay and Beyonce, Christina Milian and The Dream, Mariah and Nick Cannon, T. I. and Tiny, or dare I say Nas and Kelis?? That would be a banger.

Nick Cannon is about to shut haters down in a major way!!!!!!
Sources tell me that in a few days Nick will be announcing a joint venture with Def Jam Records. He‘ll be President of a subsidiary teen label under the major brand. This is a smart move for the company considering he just became president of Teen Nick at Nickelodeon.
Additionally, Nick Cannon has landed a syndicated radio show.
Major props to Nick for the big boy moves. Its safe to say he’ll have the teen market on smash!!!! But unless he has a twin I don’t know about, I’d like to know how he plans to manage all three ventures. Clearly all three are full- time jobs.
Hopefully mainstream media will stop sh*tting on him now!!

In this interview Alani “Lala” Vazquez gives us the scoop on the upcoming season of VH1’s “Charm School” which premieres Monday May 11th……and what a season it will be!!!! They took contestants from “Rock of Love” and “Real Chance of Love” then meshed them together in the same house for lessons on being a lady. From what I hear these girls were harrrrrrd to reform and there was some fighting and loose weaves from all the hair pulling in the process. Do you think these girls will make a change for the better?? We’ll see..
LaLa also told me why she won’t be having anymore children and gives some hints about her upcoming wedding to Carmelo Anthony. I won’t give up the goods. You’ll have to listen for yourself!!
