Twitter Beef: Rihanna vs Joan Rivers
Everyone knows that Joan Rivers doesn’t hold her tongue when she cracks jokes and is extremely outspoken, but this time it may have gone a bit too far with one about domestic violence.
Rihanna’s recent sit-down interview with Oprah on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” where she professed her love for ex-Chris Brown, didn’t sit well with the 79-year-old comedian. She tweeted,
Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it’s MY turn to slap her.”
Shortly after that tweet was sent out, Rihanna fans went HAM on Rivers for her comment. Rihanna, not one to hold back on Twitter, first tweeted out a pic of Proverbs 15:4 titled “Control Your Speech” and then directly fired back at Rivers with:
Wow u really do get slow when you’re old huh?
Slap on some diapers”
Joan, of course, wanted to have the last word, and again tweeted Ri.
Honey, @Rihanna, everyone knows: If he hit you once, he’ll hit you again. Read the statistics. PS – Love to have you on Fashion Police!”
