Last night Meagan Good posted a link to her song (apparently written and/or produced by The Dream) on Twitter. It’s only 45 seconds, but tell me wat you think….Hit or Miss??

 About the song she says in her Tweet “omg! I’ve never used auto tune before! this is sooooooo funnnn! xoxo” and ”ya’ll are gonna looooove the new stuff! i have a snippet coming! xoxoxoxo”  hmmm, take a listen for yourself…

    I was one of the 20,000 proud who signed the petition to get the Aretha Franklin Lady Of Soul award revoked from Ashanti. Megan *sigh* I like her as an actress, I think she’s quite pretty. She seems cool as a person in interviews but *siiiigh* this is horrible. It sounds like something a 14 year old with no experince did on their computer. She’s with a real producer, in a real studio and this is what we get? The fact she’s using Auto Tune – which is for people who can’t sing.

    I generally have no problem hating (telling the truth) but it saddens me here, I think before I heard it I honestly wanted to like it. But I have to be real *siiiiigh* Megan sounds like Beyonce with Down Syndrome. This is from only hearing the 45 second clip, I cannot bring myself to download the song in the 2nd link. Why Megan, WHY? Maybe her and Terrance Howard can do a duet.

    actors, please stay away from singing and rapping
    rappers and singers, please stay away from acting.

    Hummm I downloaded the 2nd link against my better judgement, was the first a joke?? She sounds alright, not good, but better than Ashanti. The beat is okay, overall nothing special, very generic and it has that stupid “EEEEH!” in the background from other Dream songs. I might check for her album. Might have some good beats. Her voice is infinitely better on this one over the first. The first link needs to vanish.
