DB Woodside Drops By The Studio
The ohhhhhh so beautiful and modest DB Woodside from “Single Ladies” dropped by the show yesterday to dish on the new season. I also like to call him sexy chocolate!!!! Check out some of the juiciest excerpts from his interview with me, where he did not shy away from expressing his dislike for Stacey Dash. He also gave props to his girl LisaRaye McCoy. I know it had to be difficult to transition after losing a cast member. What is the new response?
You know I think for some people…for some of the fans…it’s going to take a minute to get used to the fact that we had to make that switch, but we had to make that switch. Last year was very difficult at times to go to set with all that tension that was going on with Stacey so I wish her well, I’m sure she’s off doing something else, but we love Denise- she’s fantastic, she’s talented, she’s gorgeous. She’s one of the nicest people that I’ve ever met in my life and we just love her so. You know it’s gonna take a minute, but I think that the fans will fall in love with her to.”
So Stacey was that hard to work with DB?
Yes she was. I don’t want to cause any trouble, but I for one am happy she’s gone. It’s a much better place to be, it’s a much better set.”
So what happened???
I’m just going to keep it straight. I’m just going to keep it real. I am happy that she’s not there anymore.”
When you first heard that Stacey was leaving, were you afraid there wasn’t going to be another season?
When I first heard that Stacey was leaving I went out and celebrated and had some drinks.
All I’ll say is this- is that LisaRaye is my girl, I love LisaRaye, LisaRaye and I have always had a blast on the show and all I’ll say is I’m team LisaRaye, how about that?! I’m team LisaRaye all the way!”

Egypt you have the best career! I sure wish that he was hold my leg! He is handsome and oh so sexy. He was sexy in The Temptations, 24, and especially Single Ladies. Man he put Stacey Dash on blast! She must have been some kind of awful. I love the show! The fact that there’s a Black cast, producers, etc. You have a hit Queen Latifah! Good luck DB!
will anyone ever get an exclusive as to WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED… in what ways was she difficult.. was she demanding higher pay?
Wasn’t she like the eldest on set? And with the most acting experience?
Probably with the exception of Jerry (in regards to age)

Anyway regardless of what happened or however difficult or tense it would be.. as much as you’d love to think everyday at work should be fun just cause you are an actor ITS NOT.. n things get rough.. Stacey brought an element to the show that goes beyond being friends with everyone OFF SCREEN. Professionalism should have allowed yall continue on as is… You guys the ators may like her but if we the viewers dont start buying into this denise chick… thats going to effect ALL yall pockets… and CV’s…. Resume’s are for a lifetime.. you cant just omit an entire tv show lol…
