Also she addressed the questions that inquiring minds want to know like, Did Johnny Gill really come between her marriage to Eddie Murphy? ANNNND How does she feel about Eddie dating the young and twenty something Rocsi Diaz??

Enjoy……

EGYPT: Ms. Nicole Murphy of “Hollywood Exes” is on the phone. You just did an interview with “Entertainment Tonight”. They were asking how you got your body back in shape. I didn’t realize you have five kids.

Nicole: Oh yeah I got four girls, one boy.

EGYPT: Five babies still lookin’ like that?! What’s the key?

Nicole: Girl. I mean you gotta eat right and work out. Everyone thinks there’s a secret pill you take, but I’m in the gym, I work out. I’m always active. I’ll do stuff outside cause I’ll get bored quick. I’m always switching it up.

EGYPT: I wanted to know the real deal cause you know I’m always asking folks, what do you do? Tell me your doctor. You gotta have a surgeon. Lolol.

Nicole: {Laughs} The only thing I’ve done is have my boobs done because after I had five babies my titties were looking like saggy teabags.

EGYPT: So you breastfed for all of them?

Nicole: No. Only the last two.

EGYPT: So I guess I should congratulate you. The show is doing well and aren’t you planning a wedding? Have you guys jumped in- you and Michael Strahan?

Nicole: Yeah, we were actually supposed to do it a year, maybe a year and a half ago, but I had too much stuff on my plate. I could not focus. But now I’m ready to focus on getting married.

EGYPT: You once said that you didn’t think you’d ever marry again, so how did Michael change your mind?

Nicole: Well I think you know what happened, when you go through divorce unexpectedly, you know you don’t plan on it, but it happens and so you have that little bitter thing about you right then, like I’ll never get married again, never ever ever ever. But you know what? Never ever say never because you know what? I met Michael, he’s a wonderful guy, we get along very well, we have a lot in common, we have fun together. And he’s like a blessing that’s come into my life. So yes I look at him and I say I sure will get married again.

EGYPT: And I’m rooting for him to get that gig with Kelly Ripa. He’s been doing a great job on the morning show.

Nicole:  Me too. I’m like please let him get that job. I love coming here to New York.

EGYPT: So I gotta ask. I guess inquiring minds want to know. Reality TV has such a negative stigma to it. How did you tell Eddie, or did you tell him before you decided to join “Hollywood Exes?”

Nicole: I actually sent him a text saying you know what, I’m going to be doing this reality show. I don’t want you to think it’s going to be something crazy or any of that, but you know I just gave him a heads up and he’s cool with it. Thank God, you know, he’s positive with it so it’s a good thing.

EGYPT: So you guys are very civilized in your relationship then?

Nicole: Definitely. We have five babies. You have to be. I mean those children come first and thank God Eddie and I are cool. We have a great relationship.

EGYPT: So would you say that you have any regrets about your marriage or your divorce from Eddie Murphy?

Nicole: I don’t regret nothing about my marriage. I mean I had a wonderful marriage and unfortunately it ended up in divorce. And like I said that was unexpected, you don’t plan that. But it happened. I don’t regret anything. You know it’s part of learning. It’s part of your process in life and like I said we’re friends and Eddie’s taught me a lot. He’s a brilliant brilliant man.

EGYPT: I don’t think anybody can ever dispute that. There was a lot of speculation at one point, and you can answer this or not answer this, that Johnny Gill’s friendship came between your marriage. Was there any truth to that?

Nicole: No. Girl please. Johnny is like my brother. I love Johnny to death. He is family and absolutely not. Johnny has been a wonderful friend to Eddie and he’s been a wonderful friend to me. He’s like the kids uncle. He’s like family. So when I hear those accusations I think it’s quite silly. It’s just people making judgment calls and they don’t know what they’re talking about.

EGYPT: And I guess that’s the down side to being in the spotlight is folks are gonna talk, and you’re like where the heck did you get that from?

Nicole: Exactly!!! Johnny is my boy. I love Johnny Gil.

EGYPT: You just seem like you’re in an amazing space. You’re in love, glowing on TV. I’m so jealous how you can look like that at 44 girl! But okay I gotta ask you then. How do you feel about Eddie dating Rocsi from “106 & Park?”

Nicole: (Burst of laughter) You know what? If Eddie’s happy, I’m happy. Whoever he dates, as long as they’re good people, I don’t care. As long as they treat my kids well, I don’t care.

EGYPT: What would you say you miss the most about the lavish lifestyle and some would say Nicole, in all fairness, that you STILL live the lavish lifestyle.

Nicole: You know what, that’s what’s funny. Okay, yes, when I was with Eddie, it was a little different, but you know what, my life really hasn’t changed that much now. I’m with Michael and he and I together, we’re like a power couple in our own way, so I mean, Michael’s got it goin’ on now don’t get it twisted!

EGYPT: Well that’s what I mean. Some people say you still live that lavish lifestyle. But I see the ladies on the TV show saying “oh well I miss being able to go to the heliport.”

Nicole: They talk about how they lost their Gucci discount, so I get it. But I didn’t! {Laughs}

EGYPT: There’s a lot of young girls listening Nicole and I’ve heard this question asked of me most recently when I sat down to do a workshop with young girls. They said let me ask you,     “Is it smarter to marry for love or for money? Do you marry someone that you love who may be broke or just you know, can’t provide the type of lifestyle you want, or is it better to marry for money and love comes later?” What would you say?

Nicole: Oh God. You know what? It would be great if you could find both. {Laughs} I mean you know what. Women are a different situation. Fortunately I married someone that I was in love with and he did have money. And now I’m with another man who I am in love with and he has money. It just happened that way.

EGYPT: You know what I say to that? Teach a workshop!

Nicole: (Bursts into laughter) Thank you Egypt
