*EXCLUSIVE* Part 2 Michael Lohan Begs Lindsay on Maury….What You Didn’t See!!

A few days ago TMZ and Perez Hilton posted a video snippet of Michael Lohan’s heartfelt plea to daughter Lindsay on “The Maury Show”. After which, the net was flooded with critics bashing him for using his daughter for publicity.

This is the segment and interview in its entirety. I am posting this so that you can see the context in which Michael Lohan’s plea came across. His reason for being on the show was to help us shed some light on the dangers of “Teen Prescription Drug Addiction” a trend that is affecting our youth at an extremely high rate.

I am not defending Michael here but I will say this, usually I am a very perceptive person. Although I was only around him for a short period of time while I was conducting the investigative report, he seemed to be a genuinely concerned father who was reaching out any way he could in desperation.

Michael Lohan spent time in prison during Lindsay’s childhood which may be why there’s a disconnect between them. I also learned that Michael is a recovering alcoholic and a drug counselor. He went to bible college and now he’s a minister.

  1. Egypt, to begin with, I want to thank you for your unbiased upon of me and my cruisade to save Lindsaya and help others who are fighting this epidemic. Secondly, you, Maury and your producers deserve a lot of credit as ever since word of or interview, every major network are doing specials on prescription drug use. God Bless you all.

  2. Damnnnnn is that real? Did Michael Lohan just comment on his own story? And he was the first. Good look Egypt.

  3. I am glad someone finally talked about this. I think its sad when the media makes a man out to be a bad father just because he is the ONLY one brave enough to speak out and try to help Lindsay.Wouldn’t any of us do the same if she was our child? Dina is just riding the money train. She doesn’t care what Lindsay does so long as she gets a check. Media has its priorities fouled up.

  4. Egypt you did a hell of a job on that prescription drug abuse report wow! I didn’t even know things were that bad or that kids could access those types of hard drugs so easily. I actually feel bad for Mr. Lohan. No matter what he’s done in the past seeing your own child on the verge of self destructing would sober any parent up pretty quickly. He commented on your site. That’s impressive. Great job Miss Egypt!

  5. Prescription drug abuse has been going on for quite some time now. When I was in school, kids were doing all the pills, and the syrup (prometh for those that don’t know), and it’s unfortunate. I’ve had friends that I can’t really fuk wit anymore, because they’re always slouching and lazy off them pills. If it were my child, I’d do the same, and I wouldn’t give a fuk bout wut the critics are saying. Good look on his part and you miss EGYPT!!!

  6. GREAT job on the report but u are giving him a free pass. He needs to have much much much more remorse for the damage he has caused. He is also doing it on television which is good for everyone but her. If he cared he would show up at one of those night clubs she goes to and take care of his daughter.

  7. I dont understand how people could throw dirt on someone trying to help a loved one, whether its sincere or not. This is a situation that many teens are going through, and not to mention many Famous teens. This just goes to show, how pple are fake and dont really care. more pple should be trying to touch base on this issue, not just Lindsays father, bcuz when lindsay was doing good, I bet she had a lot of support and friends, Where are they now? Speaking on Lindsays issue publicly(as if it wasnt public enough) is the best thing. PPL should be trying to help, rather than calling out mr.Lohan for his past, and for trying to help…Lets look at the bigger picture! I commend you guys @michael Lohan, Egypt, and maury

  8. Some people can be so damn unforgiving! The many never said he was the perfect father nor did he say he doesn’t come with his own baggage. All he said is that as her father he wants her to bury him and not the other way around. I felt he was being sincere and I’m just glad he had the balls to do it. Maybe it needs to be revealed publicily so it will put more pressure on her to get help for her drug addiction. Egypt you did a fantastic job on the investigative report. Well done.

  9. I guess people are referring to me in the comments section. I don’t want to bury the man. I also don’t want to kiss up just because I am a fan of Egypt like you guys are doing. Egypt did a GREAT job interviewing and we know she is professional. It is easy for him to call her out on what she is doing wrong, but it takes much more manhood to look to yourself and take responsibility for what you have done wrong. I think he needs to find his daughter and handle things like this in private. It is no secret that he was a terrible father he stole money from her, he went to prison. He needs to make up for the 23 years he has failed. She has been successful in her career but terrible in life and that always goes back to the parents. The people defending him only allow more bad parents to ruin their talented children. I hope all of you take more responsibility with your kids or we will have more addicts walking around.
