T.I.’s Sentence Reduced to 2 Months!
Looks like T.I. may be the luckiest rapper in the world. Tip’s year-long prison sentence on federal weapons charges has now been reduced to 61-days?!?!? Apparently, since he stayed out of trouble after taking his plea deal last year, he ‘s being credited for time already served on 305-days at his home detention center– leaving roughly two months for him to serve out.
SMH…. now they always say that money talks, but this is a clean case where it’s SHOWN and PROVEN.
Tip will serve his 2-month stay at the Forrest City low-security federal prison in Arkansas, and must report there by noon on May 26th. When he gets out of he slammer, T.I. will remain on probation for 3 years and have to pay a fine of $100,000.
After looking at what he was facing, which was the maximum sentence of 10-years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each of the three charges he was indicted for– the next two months in jail should be a stroll in the park for the King of the South.

This is outrageous I used to be a TI fan but this just goes to show you .Money will eliminate any sentence. And being a snitch doesn’t hurt.
Sorry but he should do time like everyone else regardless of if he stayed outta trouble. That’s what you’re suppsosed to do. Lock his ass up for the full term!
I think it’s great! TI has been a positive influence on todays youth since his troubles began. Many people turn to God when they get into trouble but not many change they’re ways! I think TI will continue to be a positive influence for our youth.
I think that it’s great. It shows that with change comes reward. Why snitch and by now if TI had snitched on anyone don’t you think that all the major gossip blog sights would have the paperwork by now. ie Chris Brown and RiRi. You can’t hide court papers I don’t care who you are. So please stop saying the man snitched. GOOD money is what got him the time he was given. He is just lke the rest of the stars who got 1 day in jail for a crime we under the 7-8 figure world know nothing about. Look at the past when we in the urban community have said why did Paris get off so easy or why did Nick Hogan only get 6 months for causing the death of someone. When you got a lawyer with high connections in the right places you too could get a slap on the wrist.
T.I. ain’t man enough snitch. That’s media hype. T.I. got knocked for buying guns while on probation and then he came clean as to who he was gonna kill with them guns. The law put 2 & 2 together and came up with 4. The 4 being the no good suckas that killed his hommie Philalant. Once the law began their investigation the club owner and others at the crime scene gave up the names of the “Perps”. But T.I. stayed true to the code he lives by. Personally I think it’s a dumb code to let killers run free so as not to be a snitch but that’s only because I don’t fear man. If you did it and I see it I’m tellin’. Not only that I’ll even testify as I have done it the past. But T.I. ain’t man enough to snitch! For real.

That’s BS. He does not deserve special treatment! Remy Ma needs to go free, Lil Kim shouldn’t have done all that time she did! Even Martha Stewart had to do her full time!

All i have to say is, it’s about time. This is all legal and with a good lawyer almost anyone in his position could do the same.
