Erykah Badu is pictured on the latest cover of JET magazine which hits shelves May 31st. The new issue contains Ms. Badu discussing the controversy behind her “Window Seat” video, the come up of her multi-city tour and dealing with motherhood.

Erykah Badu on “Window Seat”:

I don’t think anyone has a right to go through life without being shocked or offended… You don’t have to like it. And if you don’t like it, you don’t have to remain silent about it… You can protest it… But that’s where your rights stop. You don’t have the right to censor art or anyone else’s opinion.
