‘Sparkle’ Headed For Broadway??

Although the movie has yet to hit the big screen, word is “Sparkle” may be headed for Broadway! Reportedly, the film’s executive producer, Howard Rosenman, is teaming with Joel Schmacher to add five new songs for a possible musical adaptation of the film. In addition to a possible Broadway run, the film has also inspired a novel which will be released on August 7th by Simon & Schuster. “Sparkle” will be in theaters on August 17.
