The self proclaimed Barbie is not only busy making hot records, but also breaking them as well….
Nicki Minaj dropped her highly anticipated debut album, “Pink Friday” 14 weeks ago. Since its release, the album has rested comfortably in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Top 200 chart. In an effort to become one of the best female emcees of her time, Nicki has broken yet another record for the most consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Top 10 by a female rapper. Pow!
Nicki tweeted the great news to all of her fans:
Now 14 weeks: PINK FRIDAY BREAKS the RECORD for MOST CONSECUTIVE weeks in the TOP 10 by a female rap album on Billboard’s 200. Thank you for your continued support.”
With this being added to her laundry list of broken records, last year her single “Your Love” reached the number one spot on the Billboard Rap Songs chart which hasn’t been done since Eve was active in the game! o_O
