On October 30, 2012, NeWFAM Entertainment, I For Talent Management, Grey Goose Cherry Noir, UPTOWN Magazine, and MALACO Records presented the album listening & CD release party for Q Parker’s solo debut titled ‘The Manual’ at Atlanta’s chic AURUM Lounge.

Hosted by GRAMMY Nominated Recording Artist/TV One’s R&B Divas Co-Star, Syleena Johnson, and V103 Atlanta’s Lifestyle Specialist, Kenny Burns,Q brought out Atlanta’s entertainers and key influencers that included: Nicci Gilbert & KeKe Wyatt of TV One’s R&B Divas; Host of HGTV’s Property Virgins/V103 Atlanta Radio Personality-Egypt Sherrod; Actress/Fitness Enthusiast-AJ Johnson; Fellow Bandmate, Michael Keith of 112; Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Co-Star-Ariane Davis; Former Member of Destiny’s Child- Latavia Roberson; Former Member of Bad Boy Records Recording Group, Danity Kane-D. Woods; Former Member of Bad Boy Recording Group, Day 26-Que; R&B Artists: Meelah (formerly of 702) & Sammie, and Notable Producers-Jazze Pha and Zaytoven were among the few in attendance among the packed crowd.

2012 has been an extremely busy year for Q Parker. With the success of his first solo single, “Show You How,” Q has made a strong reintroduction to the R&B music marketplace. Q’s new follow up single, “YES,” continues to light up urban mainstream and urban adult contemporary radio charts since and is rapidly approaching Top 15 status since it initially debuted as one of most added song at urban radio. Q is continuing to build a strong buzz with the video release of “YES” which has released virally. ‘The MANual’ features production from a bevy of GRAMMY nominated and multiple award-winning producers and co-writers including Warryn Campbell, Chuck Harmony, Ivan Barias & Carvin Haggins, Kendrick Dean, Dwayne Nesmith of Tha Corna Boyz, Mandobeats, Selasi, Adrian Porter, RL, Mika Means, Juan Winans, Jayshawn Champion, Redd Stylez and JQue Smith. ‘The MANual’ features appearances from former Bad Boy label mates Faith Evans, Styles P, and celebrated songwriter, Crystal Nicole.
