Serena and Friends Do Dinner at STK
After a serious health scare only a few weeks ago, Serena Williams seems to be on the mend. The tennis star was spotted out last night in L.A. looking sexy and fierce with her celebrity BFFs Ciara, Kim Kardasdian, Kelly Rowland, Lala Vazquez and Brittney Gastineau.
The ladies wined, dined and had girl talk at STK. Serena opened up to USA Today and shared how depressed she had become due to her recent health challenges,
“I definitely have not been happy, especially when I had that second surgery (on my foot), I was definitely depressed. I cried all the time. I was miserable to be around.”
When asked on when she will return to tennis she says,
“I don’t know what’s realistic. I really don’t know. I haven’t put a date on it yet. I know how to play tennis. I’ve been doing it for a long time–longer than I can say. So I figure that will work out.”
Well it is good to see her out and about with her girlfriends. If anything can cheer you up and get your mind off of things, a girls night out can! But don’t push it too hard Serena, we definitely don’t want you to relapse. Take care of yourself! And either these ladies have been friends for too long, or there was a dress code for last night’s dinner… But they all looked great!
