EXCLUSIVE!!! Kelis Toasts to Divorce
I have a feeling Nas and Kelis are going to be a major topic of conversation for the next few months as stories continue to come out about the couples alleged indiscretions…….
Yesterday a usually very reliable source gave me the scoop on Nas and Kelis’ marriage trouble which you can read below or click here to read.
But this afternoon, another source tells me that Kelis was just overseas celebrating her decision to divorce Nas. Apparently Kelis is very popular in Europe and Russia so she spends alot of time there when she can. I am told Kelis had a celebratory dinner with some girlfriends where she toasted to her upcoming divorce and said “Here’s to taking that motherf*$%#@ for everything he has!” and get this…Pregnant Kelis was allegedly drinking.
My snitch tells me that Nas has consistantly been cheating on Kelis with the same side piece for a while. Kelis always felt that he was cheating but could never confirm it. Finally, she got proof and caught him in his lies. They tried to work through both of their infidelities but Kelis felt that Nas wasn’t doing his part because he was still cheating. (Now this I am liable to believe because it coincides with part of the story my other source told me. Seems like Nas didn’t want to work for the marriage).
Interesting thing…..Nas is not crazy about the company Kelis has been keeping. She’s butthole tight with actress Dania Ramirez who is married to director Jesse Torrero. Nas seems to think Dania is a bad influence on Kelis because when they’re together they “allegedly” run around town like their single. He’s told folks that everytime Kelis goes out west to hang with Dania, she gets into trouble or hangs with a crowd of people who hop around to selacious private parties at the homes of various Hollywood A & B listers as well as at the home of professional athletes.
Update : Kelis denies reports that she was drinking while pregnant. In addition, she and her reps deny that she has been involved in any sex tape. Tracy Nguyen, Kelis’ publicist tells me that they have been able to track down the rapper who circulated the sex tape , which portrayed a woman that resembled Kelis. Lawyers will be filing suit against him in order to protect Kelis’ reputation.

Ummm. Deidre B, no disrespect but drinking does not cause Autism…. She still shouldn’t be drinking but My son has autism and I took wonderful care of myself when I was pregnant(the cause is unknown).

@Deidre B, you’re absolutely right, drink, and it does depend on the level can have serious effects on the infant!!!
Also, there is a test that can tell if the child did suffer from this obvioius “abuse”, and during the divorce, IF she was shown to put the child at risk, the Nas should be given full custody.
But isn’t she also a frequent user of Cocaine? I think Nas should get a court order and have her tested since she is pregnant!

@careless…..Its difficult for any of us to say whats really up between them. I am just sad they didn’t work out. Prior to the divorce filing, I thought they were happily married. That just goes to show that looks can be very deceiving. But in response to your comment..

My response is that I don’t!! When I interviewed Treach about the alleged abuse with Pepa, I was accused of always taking the man’s side. There is no side at all. There’s also very rarely right or wrong or black or white. Most of the time situations like these are complicated and live in the ‘grey area’. Consider this….perhaps both of them cheated, both of them mistreated each other, and perhaps both of them were miserable in the marraige…..now who’s wrong??? Both of them or neither of them!!! Its complicated.
We’re all entitled to our opinion but that doesn’t make Kelis or Nas monsters. Lets see how it all plays out!

I think they BOTH are to blame for taking vows and not realizing that the vows should having been VERY SACRITE and RESPECTED.. second I think NO ONE really knows whats going on in someone elses relationship (behind closed doors) reguardless how close friends are, we are still told only what THEY want us to know trust me its TWO sides to EVERY story.. It’s a celebrity “romance”/ trainwreck that was years in the making. He should have gotten to know her better and waited for Pharrel Williams semen to dry up before he got hitched with her. I don’t know the specifics of the divorce, but from the sounds of things they were both doing their thing on the side. Kelis probably cheated based on the sex tape and she is a natrual flirt who loves attention. Nas was probably doing what celebs do… succumbing to the carnal tempation that presents itself every day. There is not one male celebrity (good looking and ugly and some more than others) who doesn’t have a chic, who will do them in a heartbeat. All you have to do is give the nod to one of them. Repeat this temptation 365 days a year and eventually the dude will give in. I dont understand why celebrity wives cant just accept the fact that the celebrity men will cheat and think of the whole relationship and all the benefits beyond fidelity. Good provider, good father, keeps you looking good. The smart women accept this and the fools make noise about it.
