Tisha Taylor Murphy, the wife of comedian and actor Charlie Murphy reportedly passed away last night in the couple’s home in New Jersey.

Reports say that Tisha had been battling cancer for over a year. And last night, she succumbed to the disease in her sleep. The couple married on August 12, 1997 and they have three children: daughter Eva, and son Xavier. Charlie also has another son from a previous relationship.

Many say that Tisha was not only beautiful on the outside, but also a very beautiful soul. My sincerest condolences to Charlie and the kids.

    This is so sad, I don’t really know much about Charlie (didn’t even know he was married) but my condolences go out to him and their children :(

    He’s funny as hell and seems like he’d be a cool dude to chill with.

    I want to thank u for actually posting this. Sadly, no one other than MTO reported this loss. It seems that the only time TMZ and other blog sites have a story to run, it’s full of trash and smut. So, thank you for being a true celebrity news site.

    WOW..this is soooooo sad..my condolences go out to the entire family..I can’t even imagine what they must be feeling right now..This definitely puts things in perspective..
