Lakers Win Game 2 In O.T.

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Orlando Magic in overtime last night 101-96.  The Lakers lead the best of seven series 2-0 with the series shifting to Orlando for the next three games.  The Lakers got a balanced effort with Kobe Bryant scoring 29 points, Paul Gasol scoring 24, and Lamar Odom pitching in 19 off the bench.

The Magic executed the Stan Van Gundy designed offense very well last night; unfortunately they just couldn’t make shots.  The Orlando Magic guards shot just 6-26 from the field and in the end it was just too much for the frontcourt to overcome.  Courtney Lee missed an open layup causing the game to go to overtime.  Dwight Howard scored 17 points but his lack of offensive moves caused him to turn the ball over seven times.

As stated here at Egyptsaidso.com before, the Lakers are winning in 5 and the series will not go back to Los Angeles, but did anyone else notice that Kobe Bryant’s wife was the ONLY wife in the tunnel right after the game?  Kobe has taken a ton of heat for his wife & I think we can all see why.  If you can’t even go to work without your wife being right under you then people are going to talk.

    at first,going OT was no biggie,but when they lost the damn game?! i was SO effing mad! i always root 4 the underdogs. wtf is up w/ the sweeps this year anyway?

    I guess it’s a marrage thing i wouldn’t understand!LOL Damn talking about being smothered wow.Maybe she don’t want to take anymore chances.It is what it is or maybe Kobe want her to be there all the time.That’s there bussiness.This is more important .Lakers will be this years Champions no doubt that’s what i care about.Hey so you Kobe haters too bad yall should have fall back after yall thought Lebron and the CAVS was going to win the Championship!LOL.Kobe G.O.A.T in this erra.     Actually, it’s been a “superstitious” ritual of Kobe for several years: He wants his kids and wife to greet him in the tunnel at Staples Center after ALL home games. He believes it brings him luck and maybe he’s on to something. I too think the Lakers will win in 5.
