TENNIS: Williams Sisters Keep Winning
Right now Wimbledon, the most prestigious of all the tennis tournaments, is being played over in England. As usual the Williams sisters are playing well, especially Venus who is trying to win her third Wimbledon title in a row. Yesterday they both advanced to the semifinals and are one more win away from another Williams’s only matchup in the finals. I am predicting right now that they will both win their matches and I also predict that we won’t do enough to support them. I feel that we need to appreciate both these ladies more for what they do.
The Williams sisters are the best female athletes in the world right now & don’t fully get their due. Serena gets more credit for her body then for her accomplishments on the tennis court while Venus gets ignored far more then she deserves. They are a once in a lifetime set of siblings who dominate in what they do. Peyton and Eli Manning would have to win many more Super Bowls to equal the 1-2 punch of Serena and Venus Williams. I hope this weekend you take a little time out from your 4th of July cookouts to watch the match because we will all miss them when they are gone.

the reason are 1) many of us don’t watch tennis and 2) successful women don’t get as much credit. that’s the fact, right or wrong….but I like them.
