T.O. Honeymoon Over
People who watched the T.O. show saw that the city of Buffalo was very excited to have Terrell. They mayor gave him the key to the city & Owens promised that the Bills would be in the playoffs. After a 1-4 start where Owens has not only failed to live up to expectations but failed to be even an average player. This has led to many people thinking that the Bills should and will trade Owens before the trade deadline on Monday. Owens apparently would welcome the change as long as he went to a team that was good.
In season trades in the NFL are very rare. The Jets just traded for the Browns Braylon Edwards and it was just 1 of 4 trades of offensive players in the last 30 years, therefore I think the odds of Owens being traded is slim. Owens is a 35 year old wide receiver who can’t play as an elite player anymore. He also is borderline insane in my opinion & is not worth all the trouble he would cause if he didn’t get the ball. Unfortunately for him I think his career is going to end with a bad team in a cold city that nobody cares about.
