Here the video of the first single to drop off of R&B crooner John Legend’s collaborative project with Philadelphia collective The Roots — “Wake Up” — a cover of Melvin & the Blue Notes’ “Wake Up Everybody.”

The title track is off of the album, Wake Up, which is due out September 21st.
